Independent Optical

This was our first experience with Independent Optical, and I am so glad I listened to others in the area who recommended them! Everyone from the front desk to the providers and supporting staff was so incredibly friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. They worked so patiently with my daughter, a first time contact wearer, and she left feeling more confident and well equipped with knowledge about her new contacts. Scheduling with them was easy and convenient, and we didn't wait at all when we arrived for our appointment. Though they were quick and efficient in getting us in and out, we never felt rushed or like a number.

Was our first time since our Doctor closed shop. We both had an appointment so they did us both at the same time. When we first got there they took us back and the young lady who help us was very friendly and good. When we met with Megan she was very friendly and professional. Explained what she saw and made things easy to understand. Will definitely be back'

DR. ROTELLA was so friendly, very helpful. She made the process quick. She combined me and my son's appointment so it was easier on us. This was our first time here. And we will always be back for our eye needs.

I had Megan R. For my exam, She was incredible. Extremely Kind, talkative and informative. Very quick and thorough. Recommend 10/10 the staff was also so helpful and quick! Absolutely loved my experience will come back for sure.

When people come in, you'd expect your kid and you to be treated as decent human beings, as you are putting out that energy. All to be met with the most rudest, racist, mean, and unprofessional ladies at the front desk. They canceled our appointments all because I called them out for their rudeness towards my daughter and me. As minorities, other caucasian prople around didn't help, they just sat there and watched us get belittled. Worst place to take your kids and this establishment isn't family oriented or people friendly of all races. I would save the trip and your mental and physical health. Because even tho I stood up for us, behind closed doors I cried. All because I felt so helpless when facing the devil in disguise, all I could do was pray to Creator. If I could give no stars, I would, go somewhere else that is family oriented and people friendly. That will treat you right, and not cancel your appointments or reschedule all because you are not up to their standards (p.s. if you are the lady workers from the front, Jessica and lady with glasses, and see this, did it make you feel good sleeping at night knowing you bullied an 8 year old and her mom spoke up for her and the both of us? Or did you think the police were going to help? We are trying, good, human beings, and didn't expect that, we forgive you, but I have to let people know to protect themselves too) ~ From someone who is a human being too Due to your response and me not being able to respond, we showed up and it was 11:29, got my paperwork and it was 11:30. I reserved time slots for the both of us. Meaning appointment at 11:20, but 10 minutes increment, and to be rudely asked and treated overall is not the best way to run a professional business. Your staff was asked a question by my child only to be left with rude stares your staff gave to one another. So I told them my daughter asked a question, and for adults to ignore her and give stares like that. We're not in highschool, so for your staff to respond and take offense to me clearly pointing out their mistreatment towards my child and I. Yes, and honestly you should be reported to BBB, because I see this isn't the first time people of minorities get mistreatment by your company. Oh yes, I was upset after seeing that their egos could only get their way for them. Like the devil winning over good, that's not okay. And now for you to comment and say we were 15 minutes late? I swear we do a whole investigation and your done for with camera footage from your store and my own videos I took as well. This is not okay for businesses like yours to mistreat people all because a person like me healing and growing after all I've been thru. Speak up to mean, rude, disgusting, racist, unprofessional, weird moving to a kid and her mother. If my courage to your front desk and even Dr. Sarah standing there and not doing what's right. Should tell you what kind of business you guys are running. Again anyone of minorities or family oriented don't go here. It seems like they don't take responsibility and blame elsewhere instead of taking accountability. I seen your glasses shop had inadequate reliable and trustworthy people to treat everyone equal. Seems it starts in the office too. When the police were there and I went back for my cup, it was good to see in front of law you guys change aura. Felt good to be treated as we should've been in the first place. But had to get that after police came.

The exam side with the doctors are great, polite and friendly! But man the retail side on the other end need better customer service. I've been going to independent optical for the past three years and I think I'm over it. I'll most likely continue the exams there but go else where for my glasses and contacts. I'm not sure if it's because I'm Lakota, or if others who are non native get the same treatment. No greeting when I walk in, and a dry and sharp direct responses that make me feel like I'm being scolded. What a vibe kill. I do not like feeling apprehensive when I'm getting my order of contacts. Goodbye.

Staff is super friendly and professional. The eye doctor listened to my concerns and did a thorough eye exam for me. I would highly recommend going there.

5 stars The staffs care of my child was top knoch. I was especially impressed with the exam and how clear and confident the answer I heard. Thank you for getting her glasses!
