I'm shocked at the bad reviews because we had the BEST experience with the vision center, as well as Dr. Spalding attached to the center. Dr. Spalding was so professional, kind, and informative. The vision center was also awesome with a good selection of frames and extremely professional and helpful staff. They were so friendly and did an amazing job. We couldn't be happier with the service we received!!

This Walmart eye center is a complete letdown. The manager is unprofessional and unhelpful! During my first visit, she was on a personal call and didn't greet me until after she had let more customers line up. Today, after trying to return my contacts which weren't the right fit and irritated my eyes, I was denied a refund due to them being open (even though their website says that doesn't matter). I called customer service, who told me I could in fact return them to the store where I bought them from or perhaps another location if there was any trouble. So I tried to return them to the eye center on Gunbarrel (which was more than happy to do it), but they couldn't do it due to a system limitation. It's frustrating because not all of us can afford to just throw $60 away, especially when Walmart offers a guarantee on prescriptions. This really is a shame because I consider this Walmart one of the best stores in the area, but this eye center specifically, the manager is not up to par. I would absolutely give her and this place 0 stars if I could!

Dr. Spalding was great to work with. The eye center representatives were all very pleasant and helpful. Never waited more than a minute or two for service. Glasses were priced below any other stores we shopped at and came in ahead of schedule.

My daughter's glasses lost a screw and just needed a replacement, when I came I waited for over an hour only to be told that they could not be fixed and I needed to order a whole new pair for a single lost screw. Irritating, but whatever, I ordered a new pair. Fast forward a few months, same scenario (lost screw). I look online and the business hours say they are currently open until 7pm. I drive over and there is a sign on the door saying they won't return for an hour and a half. Very annoying. NOT the best way to keep a customer.

The optometrist had no idea what she was doing. She gave me the wrong contact prescription as a to try out and when I contacted the office to get the prescription fixed, I never heard back from her.
