Dr Alsobrook is a true 5 stars out of 5 provider! Very thorough and willing to work with patients to get them exactly what they need. I dont live in Memphis any more, but I time my annual vision checkups around when I am in town in order to see him.

I hate to be writing this review because I never leave reviews however, I felt like I needed to say something this time. I went in for an eye exam a few months ago, and I ordered some contacts as usual. When I started wearing the contacts, I was noticing my left eye had some sensitivity. Call the doctor about a month later let the staff know I was having some issues. They told me that Dr. Alsobrook would call me back and he did however, the situation never got resolved and fast forward to now, a few weeks ago. I called and let them know I was still having issues. They did give me a trial pair and they lowered the prescription in the left eye and switched to a different contact. So I called them a few days ago to let them know things were getting better. They told me they would call me back and they did today and let me know that I would have to come in and pay for an exam and also pay for contacts as my insurance had switched since the last time I went there and they didn't accept the new insurance. They told me that I would be on the hook for $156 for the exam and that I would have to pay $193 if I wanted to order new contacts because I had opened and used the box that I was supposed to be prescribed. Definitely not the outcome I was expecting as everyone seemed very professional, and I let them know that I would now be having to go elsewhere as they didn't seem very accommodating to the situation. Unfortunate situation and didn't wanna put this review up.

Extremely professional thorough and personable! One of the finest eye doctors I've ever been to in 58 years. I've been going here for the past 4 years, not only for routine exams, but for some fairly serious issues. Thank you Dr. Alsobrook!

I started seeing Dr. Alsobrook more than a decade ago before I got married, and have continued to see him after, with my husband and all three of my kids. He's like family to us! Reviews like these are hard for me because when you meet someone that gives such great service, you just don't want to share them with anyone else! We love the doc and you will too.

Was advised to try him when I was looking for an eye doctor, he has been nothing short of amazing! his practice is small although he has been doing this for years, he stops, listens to you genuinely, takes time to actually explain things to you without showing frustration, he talks to you like a friend, treats you and remebers you as a friend also! he is truly amazing, his staff has always been very helpful and friendly as well!

Dr. Alsobrook is patient and takes the time to clearly explain things. I feel confident I am getting competent advice and treatment. It is great to be able to see better!

Dr. Rick is my eye doctor. He is awesome. He has a great manner and explains things very clearly and completely. He treats both my wife and me.

Excellent care EVERY time!
