Extremely Disappointing Customer Service We've been patients with this eyecare provider for several years and have consistently purchased glasses for our entire family. Unfortunately, over the past year, the level of customer service has declined to the point that we are actively looking for a new provider. While waiting for a contact lens order to arrive, I called to request sample contacts for my high school son who ran out. The front desk staff immediately asked whether I had ordered contacts through them. When I explained that I found a better price at Costco, I was told it was "against their policy" to provide samples unless contacts were ordered directly through their office. Despite explaining our long-standing relationship and history of purchasing glasses and even contacts for our entire family, there was no effort to help or show flexibility. It wasn't until I asked to speak with a manager that they suddenly agreed to provide samples. In a separate situation, my wife called while at a different location and asked for her prescription to be emailed. She was told it would take an hour. Even after explaining that she needed it urgently she was still told it would be about an hour. She then drove to the office and arrived to an office without any patients in the lobby. The lady at the front desk said she didn't answer the phone and said they had a "call center" upstairs. She then provided my wife a copy of her prescription which could have been easily emailed to her earlier and saved everyone time. Overall, the lack of ownership, urgency, and basic customer care has been extremely disappointing. This experience feels transactional rather than patient-focused, which is not what we expect from a healthcare provider. To be clear, this feedback is not a reflection of the Collierville or East Memphis locations, both of which have always been professional, responsive, and easy to work with. Unfortunately, based on these recent experiences, we will be moving our business elsewhere.

Needed an eye exam short notice before an important medical appointment. Dr Haba did my exam and was able to get me lenses cut short notice before permanent ones came. Super knowledgeable and helpful. Great customer service. Will not go anywhere else for optometrist.

Eyecare East was the best experience I have ever had when going to the eye doctor. From the moment I walked in the door I was met with smiles and amazing customer service. Dr. Paul Mormon was very personable and informative making sure all my questions were answered. Samantha and Dana both made sure to go over insurance coverage and costs during the process of picking out contacts and glasses and made sure I was satisfied with my choices prior to leaving. I can't say enough great things and will be referring anyone I can.

Saw Dr Haba, super nice guy. Was in and out quickly, didn't wait in the lobby very long at all. Nice people working here, and were all professional. The office was also very communicative on whether or not the office was open due to bad ice and cold weather. I recommend this office for all your eye care needs. I have been wearing the same contacts for multiple years and Dr Haba recommended I try out another similar pair, and they cost about half what the others do. He was correct and has saved me a considerable amount of money when I need to purchase contacts. Thanks again Eyecare East and Dr. Haba!

I have been a patient of Dr. Mormon and Dr. Habba for at least 10 years. The doctors are great, the staff not so much. When a contact order prescription request was mistakenly denied, I called to find out why and was told that they didn't "do that"( send a Rx to a third party for filling), they did "do that" as long as I have been getting my eye exams there. When I called again to get my Rx sent to me so I could do it myself, I was then told they fixed it without contacting me, by this time Walgreens had canceled the order. When I asked to talk to this person that fixed it, i was told I couldn't because they were short handed. I then expressed my frustration with the process and said that the information had all been wrong that I was given, since I had been a patient for so long, I was told that "maybe I should get my exams at Walgreens from now on", that was Sheila that told me that. Needless to say, Eyecare East just lost the three patients from our household.

Great experience with high prescription glasses. Perfect the first try unlike other places I have used. Still holding up months later.

You will not find a more professional staff, nor a doctor more willing to go the extra mile. I'm a regular patient, and called today because of a vision problem that arose suddenly. They were completely booked, but once I explained the issue they found a way to fit me in this afternoon, a couple of hours after I called. Turned out to be a very minor thing, but I'm so grateful for their concern and care. If they are taking new patients, you won't do better, anywhere. Highest recommendation.

I'm a first timer at this establishment and let me tell you, from the moment I walked in it was without a doubt, the absolute best experience I've had thus far at any optometrist office ever. And I've worn glasses since I was a child. And I'm in my 30s now. From the reception to my time with Dr. Smith to picking out frames with Dana this was the most pleasant experience. I highly recommend Eyecare East.
