America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

1/10, Got there on time for my appointment only to wait an hour for my exam (simple contact renewal) to then be told "they aren't making my lens" anymore and I should do a different type. Insisted I want my regular type and they magically found an off brand pair they "didn't know they still had" only to look online and see they're ACTIVELY selling my type on THEIR website! They gave my wife the wrong lens since they didn't ask about or read her prior prescription and pushed back her new appointment twice after making her wait in line while the front desk took calls in front of everyone. They got really pushy on the up sale to buy in house items even though I was assured I can come back anytime and price match after every time I declined. Not worth the headache of rescheduling and wasting your time in a lobby just for something simple as a lens renewal.

the larger woman working the front desk is extremely rude. asked for the price of service and was told it would be $95, after my appointment i was quoted $240+. I asked the woman at the front desk why the price changed and she got extremely rude and stated i did not ask about contacts. if i did not ask about contacts why was i given a contact exam ? Instead of apologizing the woman working the front desk became extremely rude and passive aggressive, will be purchasing elsewhere considering your front desk staff is not only unknowledgable but extremely rude. went back in and she covered her name tag with her jacket. "my bad" and i would have purchased but instead the woman chose to be rude. the woman who cashed me out apologized on her behalf and was very professional. I came here because no where who accepts military insurance had an appointment the same day. I mentioned this at check in as well. Your employee not only treats paying customers poorly but has no respect for those who serve our country- i suppose she imagines all military are "broke". if i was old and only had the skillset to poorly advise customers with incorrect information i suppose i would be ornery and rude as well. highly reccomend seeking service at another company or another location.

Great selection of glasses and the lady who'd is the pre screen with the bald cut was so nice! Appointment was at 12 but didn't get seen until like 1:30 by Mr. wheeler. From the comments it seems the Mr Wheeler is the problem. He sees people like 1-2 minutes and takes multiple breaks. He walked past me and went to the bathroom like three times and stayed in there forever. I chose this location because it's close and I shop at the surrounding stores often like Five below and Publix. I did find 3 frames I will see how the glasses are to know if I'll keep coming back. I probably won't due to the eye doctor.

Mari and Marley were amazing at helping me deal with my pain in the ass insurance. Excellent personalities and customer service. The woman who gave me the pretest exam was great as well. My needs were met, the price was phenomenal. Would recommend!!

Absolutely awful experience, if I could give it a zero I would. Appointment was at 12 pm and didn't get seen by Dr. Benjamin Wheeler until 1:30 pm. There were four people ahead of me and each one of us were only seen by him for about 3-4 minutes. Then when I went to get checked out for glasses, the retail associate had an attitude and was only nice after he realized the doctor messed up and didn't talk to me about contacts even though it was on the sheet in the folder he received and looked at before I was called into the exam room. The retail associate confronted the doctor and the response was, " well she didn't mention it when i brought her back and asked her if she uses glasses" but it was on the paper I filled out and it was highlighted. If he can't read paperwork then there are a lot of problems. The only person I felt was friendly and did their job right was the bald lady who does the pre-test exam, she was so sweet, patient and deserves to be the doctor.

I've been going to this location since 2019 and have also been treated kindly. My most recent visit prompted me to write this review. Tim and Sherrie gave me excellent service, and both took the time to help me find the perfect frames and with the many discounts and deals at the time I was happily surprised by the cost of my new frames and prescriptions, well below my original budget. Thank you for the awesome experience!

I had a great experience at America's Best thanks to Sherry. She provided me with excellent service and was incredibly patient and kind while helping me with my contact lenses. It was my first time using contacts, and she took the time to carefully teach me how to put them on and take them off. Sherry made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the whole process. Her professionalism and friendly attitude truly made a difference. Highly recommend her and the team at America's Best!

The employees are nice and they got my prescription correct but the glasses I got were not so great. I got them in the 2nd week of DECEMBER, last month and the leg fell out today, screws gone and the other was loose so luckily I was able to tighten those before they fell out as well. My mother spent $200 on those glasses just for them to break, please go to VisionWorks, I've NEVER had their glasses break on me like that before, please get employees that do their job correctly.
