Shelton Eye Center

So much fun! They always make the environment feel like a fun place like family. I've been going here off and on since I was a child. And they always have the best prices. Definitely recommend! Dr Shelton also explained to me things I didn't even know about my own eye prescription and helped me to understand more about my vision! I felt really confident leaving his office today! And I have to admit I'm super excited to get my glasses when they come in!

Dr. Shelton is always friendly and personable as well as thorough in his diagnoses. He explains what's going on with my eyes so I feel confident I am getting the best care. His staff is great, and the selection of frames is excellent. I look forward to better vision with a new prescription for my changing eyes. Our family recommends Shelton Eye Care highly.

"I used to go to Total Vision Center to get my glasses. I paid $350 for my glasses, but the next year when I went back, they charged me over $900 for the same kind of glasses. I asked them why they were charging me over $600 more for the same pair of glasses, and they told me prices had changed. I don't think they change over $600 a year, so I did not go back to them. I went to a place called Shelton Eye Center in Lexington, Tennessee"When I walked into the door, they had K-LOVE radio station, the Christian radio station, playing. The office staff was very nice and friendly. The doctor was extremely nice; he asked whatever questions he needed to ask, he gave me plenty of time to ask him anything that I needed to ask him, and we communicated for a long time. He was in no hurry to get out of my room; he wanted to make sure we covered everything.""When it was time for me to leave, we went out, and we decided what kind of glasses I wanted. I picked out the frames and told them what I wanted on it. While it ran almost $116 more than what I wanted to spend, they knew that. They adjusted my prices on my glasses, giving them to me for the same price I wanted to pay for. They did everything they could to help me."

The best and quickest eye exam ever! The staff was friendly and organized. There was little wait time and the visit was thorough. The ophthalmologist was super nice, explained in detail the issues of my visit and the "whys". I am so glad I made a change. I will be back and will schedule my family here as well.

My 3rd year seeing Shelton Eye Clinic. The staff is amazing... super friendly and helpful. Dr. Shelton is very experienced and his skills and equipment are top of the line and current. He compares year to year scans of your eyes to make sure they are healthy. He's very kind, gentle, and has a great sense of humor. Totally recommend this practice!

Dr. Shelton is an amazing doctor, he spends the time necessary to get to the root of any issue you may be having. I started with another clinic in town but they seemed very expensive whereas Shelton Eye Clinic is more affordable.
