Dr. Stanley R. Martin, OD

Absolutely horrible Doctor. My wife is diabetic and she went to him for her yearly diabetic eye exams. My wife started seeing floaters in her left eye. He told her to use eye drops and it would get better. Unsatisfied with his diagnosis, she went to another Doctor who noticed signs of retinal detachment in her left eye. They started injections and referred her to Tennessee Retina. She's going into her 5th eye surgery tomorrow. Most of the vision is gone in her left eye and the right is deteriorating. The delay in proper treatment caused by Stanley Martin has caused my wife to lose her vision. His license should be revoked and he should never practice again. Btw, he missed it. Two years before she started noticing the signs, she had to go to a Lenscrafters because she couldn't get into Martin. They noticed something and recommended additional scans. We paid no attention at the time because Martin constantly told her she was in good shape. He even told her the next year and right before she noticed something was wrong that she was fine and healthy. If you value your eye health, go somewhere else.

The Doc is a great guy. See Kim's review about his receptionist though. My wife just had eye surgery and needed his opinion, because she trusts him, and the dragon lady was of no help. We will never go back as long as dragon lady is there. This rating is for HER. It should have been a 1.

I have been going to Dr. Martin for several years for all my eye care. He is such a great Dr. He's very down to earth with a great sense of humor. Always thorough and doesn't rush you out. Beth at the front desk is always super sweet to me as well. I haven't ever had a bad experience with any of them.

Dr. Martin is very professional and efficient. The office staff is sometimes friendly but at other times act completely put out when dealing with customers. I have experienced this on numerous occasions. My young son has broken his glasses a couple times and when I come in to have them adjusted or a screw put in, they act completely perturbed that I did not schedule an appointment and have disrupted their day. -- so disappointed

Always a great experience @ my yrly vision check. From the ladies @ the front desk, Dr. Stan Martin & Chrystal (assists w/frames & lens). Everyone is awesome @ their job & it's reflective in their interactions with the Pt's!

This is a great place for all your eye care needs. The doctor is so nice and the staff is too. I am so happy I came here.

I love dr martins staff and dr Martin he's an amazing doctor he joke's and does his work me and my family has went to him for years

Dr Martin and his staff are so friendly and helpful. They make you feel like family.
