First cataract and lense replacement surgery was fine. I was awake the entire time. He yelled at me during the second surgery because I wasn't following his directions but I was asleep except for the time he yelled in my ear. Maybe due to over anaethesia or because my oxygen level was low (mid 80s in recovery room). No one bothered to figure it out during the surgery. He yelled at me at the appointment after the second surgery because it was my fault my eye was painful because I was out during the surgery. At the follow up appointment two weeks later, I was brought in, tested, and eyes dilated by the tech. Waited an hour and no one ever came back. Still mad at me? Whatever. If a doctor can't control his surgery or his temper, it's not a doctor I need to be seeing. So unprofessional.
Dr Farmer was younger than I was expecting but I was quickly confident in ability and knowledge. He explained what test we were doing and what he'd be looking for. His communication was clear and easy to understand. He showed genuine interest in my medical history (as it applied to my eye). His staff was pleasant and efficient as well. I would have no hesitation recommending Dr Farmer.
Our referral to the office of Dr. Farmer was quick and easy. The directions to the modern office were clear and detailed. We arrived about 15 minutes early and there were other patients waiting. They moved in ahead of us rapidly and we soon were escorted back, on time, for a confirmation screening and to see the Doctor. When we finished our visit Dr. Farmer said he could do the surgery quickly if we wished. My wife went back with the assistant and returned in 10 minutes. We spend another 30 minutes to make sure no complications arose. Quick, professional, courteous and pleasant from start to finish.
Woman at front desk was a little out of sorts, maybe a bad day for her, but she can't be like that with patients, especially new ones. All other staff was very congenial. Dr. Farmer was thorough and made me feel less anxious than when I came in. See you in a year and thank you for your respect in treating a new patient.
It was great, except Dr. Farmer was not himself. He wasn't rude or nothing, just not the way he usually acts. I was hoping that nothing was wrong personally. I have no complaints other than concerned. The staff was so helpful and I loved the new offices.
Dr Farmer was very knowledgeable, informative. He spoke so fast I could not process all that he shared
I felt rushed, and hurries along. I had waited for over three weeks for the appointment, and then 35 minutes more ast my appointment time.
Dr. Farmer was very friendly and professional. He has allowed me the vision I have always dreamed of. I can see, without corrective lenses, better than I have ever been able to see in my entire life. I am forever grateful to Dr. Farmer. I would recommend Dr. Farmer to anyone that has any kind of vision problems. He is great. Forever grateful, Glynn Glover.
I was lucky. Had a minor eye irritation for a couple of months. The doc was all booked for weeks, but his staff said << oh i found a cancelation, can you come TOMORROW? . Great news and in I went. Doc recognized my problem quickly, gave detailed instructions on how to treat it. He said I should feel better in a week or ten days.
Got started with my healing regimen, and I was amazed how much my eyes had been bugging me, because I felt a TON better that same afternoon. This is 24 hours later, and I feel 100%. I'll keep to my repair routine as ordered, but could not be happier.
Go SEE doc Farmer, but don't wait two months like I did
