Ducklo EyeCare

I went to Ducklo EyeCare to get new glasses. I was very satisfied by how helpful everyone was. Especially Cidney, who worked with me to pick out the perfect frames. I really appreciate the care she exhibited, making sure the frames I tried fit well and really getting good measurements to make my progressive lens. Basically her friendliness throughout the transaction made the experience that much better.

I had a truly horrible experience with Ducklo Eye Care and highly recommend you search elsewhere for your eye care and glasses. On the off chance that anyone from Ducklo actually reads this, you should know that Esy (I'm not sure how to spell his name) has provided the only positive interactions I've had during this experience and I would have posted this a lot earlier if it wasn't for his visible effort to help me and his transparency. As for the rest of the group - optometrists and their lab: Their optometrists messed up my eye dilation 3 times, resulting in it taking over an hour (and this isn't exactly comfortable), and then they tried to sell me ab alternative procedure not covered by insurance as if it was my fault their optometrists couldn't do their job. I believe their words were "why didn't you just get the [photo] taken instead? It would have been a lot easier!" I've had my eyes dilated every year for the last 20 years and it has never taken more than 2 attempts. To make it even better, when I finally ordered my glasses, the lab got it wrong FIVE TIMES. Not an exaggeration, five individual times, across 2 months, before I was offered a refund. The first pair of glasses got delayed because they had to remake them after the lab made the wrong shape. When the redo pair arrived, they passed the office's "quality check" despite the fact that they did not have the anti-reflective coating on them, which I had to show them myself a week later. I should have already had doubts about this office at that point but I foolishly said okay when they said they would remake them. This next redo pair was also delayed because it was messed up again, but I only got this update after calling the office myself. When they did arrive, I went into the office only for them to tell me it was wrong again. At this point, communication broke down further. I called and discovered yet another delay and was told that the office manager would be calling me that afternoon to sort things out. I waited 8 hours and never got a call. The office had supposedly been talking to the manager of their lab about this but I'm fairly sure it was just outsourced to a lab they don't have contact with or their lab manager is an idiot. This is because when I called Monday morning to ask about the glasses which were now apparently on their way to the office from the lab. I asked them if they were absolutely sure it was correct and they said they had talked to the lab manager and that it was correct and was on the way to the office. When they arrived on Tuesday, the office called me and told me that, you guessed it, they had messed it up again. These glasses and lenses were advertised to me as "premium" but the experience was abysmal, and I have absolutely no faith in this group's medical or manufacturing ability. Because of Ducklo Eye Care, I did not have a good pair of glasses on the day of my wedding, and will not for my honeymoon either. I've worn glasses for two decades, 80% of my life, and have never had such an atrocious, horrible experience even at budget places. Costco does this better for half the price and I wish I had stuck you them instead. Avoid this place at all costs.

I have been going to Dr Ducklo for 20 + years - matter of fact he an Dr Lemoncelli were the first and only docs at that time . They are both excellent doctors! Also a month ago , I saw Dr Steven Williams - also an excellent doctor ! BUT - the staff that took Millie's place and the person who answers as to why it took a month to get my glasses back are very very very unprofessional ! She even laughed and said I know it's been a month, but there was something going on - I asked what - she said she didn't know ! When I picked my glasses up they tried to charge me $40. I said now wait a minute - when I picked these glasses out and the bill was shown to me it was a few dollars less than my insurance covered - a guy and a girl both said they didn't know - that I could take it up w/ my insurance company ! I asked him to show me the invoice - he said he didn't have it - what ? I love Dr Ducklo but he needs to check on the ones representing him in the back - girls at the front were professional. I should have gotten a copy of the original document that showed I was covered - all I got was my eye exam . And my glasses are supposed to be reading glasses meaning when I look at my computer which is close it's blurry - the lens are clear when I hold a book 2 inches in front of my face ! Sorry Dr Ducklo and Dr Williams but it's all true! Update ... I want to thank the manager , Haseena Rabi for going above and beyond to try and fix the bad service and problem !! She really did try her best.First, the guy in the back that walks like a turtle and is NOT customer service "friendly "should receive more training or find a job so he doesn't have to talk to people- he would be great at that ! He looks very intelligent so maybe IT help desk ...while I was in for my second try to fix the problem Haseena asked him a question about my problem and he never looked at me to say hello since she was speaking about me-I'm really sad that I won't be going back to Ducklo after all these years

I highly recommend Ducklo EyeCare! This was my first eye-care appointment since I moved to Nashville, so I chose Ducklo based on others' experiences. Initially I was evaluated by Twan, who is a very sweet jovial young man. Then Dr. Soloman spent lots of time discussing my vision issues and thought I might benefit from switching my routine from distance contacts and reading glasses to one near and one far contact. It's a blessing not to hunt for readers every 5 minutes. Amazing! Though they didn't apply to me, the prescription glasses selection was impressive. Now my husband is scheduling an appointment!

I've been to see Dr. Colonna twice now and both times have been really impressed. He is very thorough and is the first optometrist who has taken the time to understand my Strabismus and write a prescription for glasses to correct it.

My review is specifically for Stephan. He is such a kind and helpful person! He went above and beyond to assist me with an issue, and his support made all the difference. Stephan is truly a shining star at Ducklo. If he reflects the caliber of employees they hire, I can wholeheartedly recommend this company.

They were amazing! The front desk staff is super friendly and helpful. I traveled to Nashville for a conference and left my contacts behind. They were able to work with my primary optometrist out of state to get me trial contacts for the rest of my trip. Thank you!
