I'm not typically the type to leave bad reviews, since everyone's experiences are different, and one bad appointment is usually not enough evidence to say an entire establishment is awful. However, I feel this situation needs to be shared for the sake of others. I chose this doctor because they had excellent reviews, and they accepted my insurance. Like other reviews say, the staff were all very nice, and I had no issues with the appointment itself. Then it came time to pay the bill: I was shocked I had a balance at all, because my insurance has always covered my entire eye exam with no co-pay. I looked at the breakdown, and the total was over $500 for AN EYE EXAM. My insurance covered half, and I was stuck with the rest. The real kicker though, was when I got home and realized my prescription sheet was only half filled out. I was billed over $300 for a prescription I can't even use.
