America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I'm a disabled Veteran, and the advertisements on the Internet and TV intrigued me, so I went into the Smyrna location for the $79 eye exam and 2-pairs of glasses ($179-$245 if you need progressive lenses). My first visit to the store, I left only with my prescription. But the manager of the store, Carl, reached out to me regarding my initial review of my experience at that location. A good manager is willing to listen to the customer, discern that information, and effectively communicate to their staff how to be better. He was very kind, a US Veteran himself, and he reminded me that good customer service still exist, along with some of our southern values that sometimes are lost in translation when a national chain places itself within a brick and mortar building in our little area of the world. I'll be picking up my glasses in a couple of weeks, and I am grateful for the time and attention that Carl gave in effort to ensure that his customer was taken care of, and would return for future business.

Ms Paula was amazing on explaining and assisting us. Super patient with breaking down every single information to your understanding ..she takes pride in providing service and we were fully aware on what we were purchasing. Very respectful and polite and makes sure you the customer is getting EXACTLY what you need!!! We LOVE AND APPRECIATE HER!!!! Thank you from the BAKER Family

This was my first visit to America's Best. I have been wearing glasses for going on 4 decades. I learned more in that one visit than I did in 4 decades of buying glasses. Paula was SO helpful to me. She was honest and told me if the frames were too large or to small for my face shape. I found out that they actually have sizes. We tried a 53 and she said we needed to try a 52. I had never known that they were numbered by size. I had just picked up frames and paid for them. She was the BEST person I have EVER had help me with my vision. She was honest, very nice, so helpful, yet professional through the whole process. When I get glasses the next time, I pray she is still there to help me. Awesome service

Paula fitted me into my new glasses. After listening to my preferences we went over to the wall and she helped me pick my glasses! Her first suggestion was the pair I went with! Overall amazing experience!

From the receptionist to Dr. Wilson to Ms. Paula this has been one of the best eye doctor appointments I've ever had and I've been in glasses/contacts since a kid. Dr. Wilson was conversational and made me feel welcome and comfortable. Then I got to Ms. Paula and she genuinely made me feel great about my glasses selection as she went frame by frame with me making sure they not only fit well but looked good on me, lol. Great experience and great staff, I will definitely be making this my eye care facility of choice.

Most efficient eye appointment of my life, and I've been wearing glasses for 40 years. My appointment was at 9:30 and I was back in my car good to go by 9:50. Fast, friendly, helpful staff. I couldn't be happier.

Carl and the Staff at America's Best are all wonderful and nice! Carl was able to fix my glasses by putting a new screw in the temple piece. Definitely recommend and they will have my business in the future!

Front desk reception older white lady with glasses changed my perception of this place. I had only heard American best was amazing. When I got there, The lady was just Rude and her energy and demeanor was off... as in what do you want ... smh. The empathy wasn't there. Not friendly or welcoming. Lord I'll take my money and go elsewhere... I just turned around and left. It was another eye doctor in the same plaza I ended up going there.
