I had my first-ever eye appointment at Allen Eye and was seen by Dr. Wimbush, and I truly couldn't have had a better experience. He made me feel so comfortable and seen, especially as someone who's never been to an eye doctor before. The clinic itself is absolutely stunning.
After my exam, I worked with Calvin to pick out my frames, and he was just as wonderful. He was welcoming, incredibly helpful, and took the time to really get to know me--not because it was his job, but because he genuinely cared. I loved getting to visit with him and felt so taken care of from start to finish.
Such a great experience all around. Highly recommend.

Great place with great people. Needed an eye exam, hadn't gotten one in years and they were able to see me within a few days of calling. Doctors and receptionist were fantastic. Peter helped me get a pair of glasses that fit me, walked me through my options for going through insurance vs. non-insurance and explaining the benefits of both. Had basically no wait and received my new glasses within a week!

Shelbie was incredible. So kind and efficient. My problem is with current lenses, I left my glasses on the pool area and went swimming not realizing one of my dog's would run over them Sadly the lenses aren't glass so all the scuffs & scratches can't be removed. So checking into a new improved pair! Love Allen Eye Associates and always recommend them to everyone!

This is by far my favorite optometrist office. I've been coming here for years now and they seem to just get better every time! All staff and doctors are extremely attentive, friendly, and truly care about your concerns. Never once have I been rushed out (as many clinics do). They always provide a great experience and walk you through the process. I've met with almost every doctor now, and they are all superb! AllenEye is a true representation of what good healthcare looks like!

We really like the doctors here and enjoyed coming for several years and happily recommended them to friends. This year, my husband ordered a pair of glasses and was told to anticipate them arriving in about two weeks. After two weeks he started to request regular status updates on what was taking so long and after a week and a half of being stonewalled every time he asked for an update, he called and was told him and our entire family are no longer allowed in their establishment for being "difficult" and "unprofessional." We are quite upset that after waiting weeks for an appointment and nearly a month for the glasses we are being forced to start the whole process over somewhere else simply for questioning why they were taking so long to come in. This is an extreme reaction and quite frankly, unacceptable.

Had a great experience at my first visit with Dr. Bean! Dr. Bean and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming! I happened to come in on the day of their trunk show, which was such a fun surprise with a great selection of frames and a fun atmosphere. Their glasses selection in general is fantastic and the team is very knowledgeable and helping me find the right pair. Highly recommend!
