I cannot say enough wonderful things about Shannon Vision Care! After having a pretty lengthy and complicated eye history, I'm always a little anxious walking into a new office but they made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. From Meagan's patience helping in the exam to Carrie and Helen helping me pick out frames. Everyone there is so genuine and loving. Dr. Ashley is one of the best doctors I've seen and given my history, I've seen a lot. She took her time, was thorough, she didn't just listen she understood. She worked with me until we were able to find the perfect lenses. I am so thankful for the ladies at Shannon Vision Care that make you feel like family.

I have been a patient at Shannon Vision Care for many years. I've always had excellent care and service. Today's experience was above and beyond compare. I'd been meaning to make an appointment over the past 2 weeks to get my new glasses 'tweaked'. I happened to be driving by and thought, I'll just stop in and make an appointment for another day. I walked in and they insisted on seeing me right then and there. I explained I couldn't stay as I had groceries in my car that would spoil if I came in. They continued by saying we'll put them in our refrigerator. An employee came out my car to help me carry them in. I am here to tell you good customer service and excellent patient care is a priority at Shannon Vision Care. Thank you to all the employees. I look forward to seeing each of you when I pick up my new glasses. A happy and grateful patient for life.

I had a great experience at Shannon Eye Care in Allen. Dr Ashley Shannon and the entire team made the whole visit feel relaxed and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. Even when they were explaining that my eyes were dry and needed some attention, everything was communicated in a way that felt supportive and easy to understand. The staff was friendly, professional, and made the process smooth from check in to checkout. I highly recommend them if you want an eye care team that is knowledgeable, thorough, and makes you feel comfortable the entire time.

Dr. Shannon is an awesome doctor. She is very thorough and takes the time to listen to what is going on with you. I have been a patient of hers for years and I'm so grateful her practice has grown and she has some additional amazing doctors working with her. Staff is always welcoming and kind.

I came to Shannon Vision Care in Allen for a routine annual eye exam to update my glasses prescription. I chose them for convenience since they're close to home, but unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. After receiving my new prescription, I ordered glasses from Costco, where I've been getting my glasses for years without any issues. When I picked them up, everything was blurry and I couldn't see clearly at all. Costco compared the new prescription with my previous one and noted there was a significant difference. I've never had problems like this before, and my prior prescriptions had been stable for years. When I contacted Shannon Vision Care to explain that I couldn't see with the new prescription, I was told I would have to pay a $50 fee just to have it checked, and another fee if the doctor needed to re-examine me. I explained that I couldn't even see properly with the prescription they provided and felt I shouldn't be charged to correct a possible measurement error. The situation was frustrating, and the communication around fees felt inconsistent. When I went back, Dr. Davison did change my prescription and waived the fee, which I appreciate. I returned to Costco and had new glasses made again using the revised prescription. Unfortunately, even with the updated prescription, my vision is still not as clear as it was with my previous doctor's prescription. At this point I've lost trust in whether my measurements were taken accurately. Vision care is not something I want to gamble on. I chose this office for convenience, but I regret not sticking with my previous doctor. I won't be returning.

The whole team was very pleasant and kind throughout my visit! Dr. Shannon was super knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and made me feel comfortable throughout the exam. What a great place for eye care. Reagan first of was a delight to work with for my initial eye testing. She talked me through each step thoroughly and was professional and polite. Then I met with Dr. Ashley Shannon. What a great lady! Full of energy personable, great bed side manner, very informative and easy to talk to. When it came down to picking out my frames Carrie walked me through all my options on frames and lenses with no pressure on anything. Will be going back for my next visit for sure. My family will be making their appointments as well. Recommending Shannon Vision Care to everyone. Just a great staff and enjoyable to work with. If I could give them 10 stars I would!!!

Our family have been going to Shannon Vision for over 11 years. Recently moved out of the area but still making the trip to Allen for appointments. The staff and the doctors are all wonderful, willing to help and work with you on any situation. Very professional and kind. They are all more like friends to us than just an eye doctor. We will never change eye doctors.
