I had an excellent experience with Dr. Huang at Beyond Eye Care in Atascocita, TX. From the moment I sat down, I felt truly heard. Dr. Huang listened attentively to all of my concerns about my vision without rushing me, which made such a difference. What really impressed me was how patiently Dr. Huang answered every single one of my questions, no matter how basic they might have seemed. The explanations were thorough and broken down in a way that was easy to understand - no confusing medical jargon that left me scratching my head. Dr. Huang has a wonderful way of relating to patients. Instead of feeling like just another appointment, I felt like I was talking with someone who genuinely cared about my eye health and overall wellbeing. The relatable approach made the entire visit comfortable and reassuring. I left my appointment the most complete prescription I have ever had. I left my appointment with vision confidence and feeling validated in a way no other eye doctor has ever provided. I highly recommend Dr. Huang to anyone looking for an eye care professional who combines expertise with compassion. It's rare to find a doctor who takes the time to truly connect with their patients while providing such comprehensive care.

I've been coming here for a few years and never had an issue. This appointment I was told I had to do retinal imaging or dilation to get my eye exam done. They said this change was implemented only at this location beginning in August. I was not informed this when I made my appointment. I never was forced to do this ever in my life and I've had glasses for a decade. I will be finding another office for my eye exams. I would advise you to do the same if you don't want to be forced to do extra exams.

I came into town specifically for this exam and I was not happy with the outcome. The doctor was not in and the receptionist informed me that I HAVE to get my eyes dilated even though I stated that I did not want to do so for this appointment. I have been wearing glasses most of my life and never been told That I could not deny the dilation. She told me that if I did not get the dilution done per the doctors request I would be denied my appointment. I asked her to call the doctor and let her know that I don't want my eyes dilated at this time. The doctor filling in for her, stated that she would not do my exam if this is the doctor's wishes as well. I am completely unhappy with this outcome and have never been told that I have to do something especially if I am paying you. I waited an hour for a response and the doctor never called back. I will not be returning. This was extremely inconsiderate and inconvenient.!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. James he is truly deducted to his craft and expertise. He always hit the mark 100% each time he dies by check-up's and gets it right the first time.

I took my daughter in for an eye exam and new glasses. This was our first time coming here. We couldn't have been happier with the doctor and the technician. They were both extremely patient and didn't take long at all. I felt like we were in and out. My daughter felt totally comfortable with both of them. It was a great visit and I will definitely bring the rest of my family here!

Dr. Huang was informative and personable. He did not rush my exam. I feel very confident that I will be happy with my prescription. My experience on the retail side was also pleasant. I wasn't happy with the initial cost. However, the sales person explained all of the fees, insurance coverage, etc. We were able to get the total down to a price I was comfortable with. I will definitely be back next year, and I am making appointments for my entire family.

Went in for a routine check-up that was supposed to be fully covered by insurance. Without informing me, they tacked on additional services that I never asked for and weren't necessary. These services were not covered by insurance, and I was blindsided with a large bill afterward. At no point was I told upfront about these extra charges or given the opportunity to approve them. I tried to speak with the doctor or management to resolve the issue, but no one ever called me back. The front office staff needs serious improvement in communication and transparency. Patients deserve to know exactly what they're being charged for before services are rendered--not after the fact. Extremely disappointed and will not be returning.
