America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I've been going here for my glasses since I moved to Austin in 2019. The appointments are quick and easy going and I love the doctor here, Dr. Deepa Patel. She's amazing and really cares for her patients. The glasses purchasing process after my appointments is also easy-breezy. They have very friendly and professional staff. They'll try and up-sell you but there's never any pressure to buy more than what you want and most of the time their suggestions are in your best interests. There's also this manager here that's very good at his job. He's got brown hair and glasses and dresses very well. I don't know his name unfortunately but, I've seen him in action and he's good. There was one time I was checking out and a customer blew up on the staff and he did a fantastic job defusing the situation. I have no idea why the customer was upset but he did an excellent job calming her down and taking the time to listen to her. I was very impressed! All in all, this place is a solid choice to get your glasses at a really good price in town. The selection is very good too and I believe you can bring in your own frames too if there's a specific frame you want to use that they don't carry.

I have been coming here since moving to Austin. My first pair of glasses the lenses did not last, but I still came back. It was for an emergency situation. I needed a contact bc mine fell out and I didn't have a back up contacts at home or back up glasses. They refused to provide a trial lens even when I offered to pay for it. The suit wearing manager told me that's why I should have back up glasses. I know he is right but I hadn't bought glasses bc I wanted better lenses than the ones I got before and spent the Fall caring for dog 14 year old dog dying of Cancer. I am really high prescription, so his decision to not help me unless I bought a whole pack of contacts has me driving home at dusk in blindness. Really lost my trust in this location based on this.

Went today to see more frame options cause i get the 40% off on my next pair from my insurance. came here with my best friend and Chase was so so helpful and friendly during our visit! I am a very particular and picky person with my frames and Chase is great at listening and reviewing my feedback as we went through frames. Just wanted to leave my appreciation for Chase! it's such simple good customer service but it makes intimidating experiences like "going to the doctor's" less anxiety inducing cause the interactions are not just limited to the doctor-exam portion.

10/10 experience. Robin is absolutely amazing sweet and helpful optometrist I've ever had! She helped me 30 minutes before closing without rushing me at all. Upsold me to the polarized lenses and I am so happy I did very well worth the value. Great in house selection. Manager very kind and you can tell his staff are happy and taken care of. Highly recommend!

They just cannot make any glasses whatsoever. They don't even care about it if the glasses are not good while picking them up and will adjust them but the adjustment doesn't last for more than two days. The doctor was really good though is just the front staff and the quality of the glasses

I have been with America's Best for 10 years and it's for a reason. Even if you don't have vision insurance, their meme ratio program makes it easy and affordable to get the care you need. They are always SO nice, timely and exams are a breeze. I really appreciate this office and this business!!

I recently booked an appointment and was immediately greeted by staff I showed up about 5 mins before appointment and they were ready to go for me! Doctor was super informative and nice and hand off from beginning to the doctor to the person assisting me with my frames were amazing! Was in and out fairly quickly! Can't wait to receive my glasses

Took my daughter here the other day. They were great, had us in and out fast. She did exam, picked her glasses and got fitted. Awesome deal too. Exam and 2 pair of glasses for $79
