Eye Physicians of Austin

Overall my experience with Eye Physicians of Austin was outstanding. Dr Ryg was highly trained, professional, knowledgeable, and extremely competent. The technicians were very well trained, equipped and caring. I received exceptional care. A fantastic experience during a difficult time. I am grateful that I found this superb facility while visiting Austin Texas.

Great service and attention to detail. They booked my appointment on a Saturday which accommodated my schedule. Detailed analysis of my issues and painted a I tire of future care that I appreciated. Highly recommend.

They do not deserve even one star, I believe ageism had a big factor in this. I was the only one in the building that did not have gray hair, I went into about four different rooms. None of the technicians told me what they were doing and why they were doing it. Finally got into the doctors office. The doctor did not introduce himself to me. Did not shake. My hand did not make eye contact with me and again didn't explain anything of what they were doing. What they had been doing. When I went to the exit counter, I was telling myself if they were going to charge me anything I was gonna have a complete meltdown. They did not charge me anything, a month later I received a bill of almost $400. I then started receiving text messages and phone calls regarding my bill. I informed them that I had just recently spent a significant amount on my pet and property taxes, but that I would pay them as I believe in paying my debts. I then started paying them a monthly amount to go towards the bill, I was then threatened that I would be sent to collections. I called them and told them please send me to collections as my Credit score has no effect on my life and asked them to stop threatening me. This was the worst experience I have ever had in my 42 years of living.

The contact tech is absolutely amazing but...the contact lens's dept is severely understaffed. One person fitting lenses on a Thursday with no one working at front desk. Every other area is fully staffed with employees everywhere yet this is what you get when you show up at 11:30 and again at 3:30

Dr. Farooqi was very knowledgeable and straight to the point about my father's eye condition. He explained everything to us very well and gave us time to ask questions. The front desk staff was wonderful as well. I would recommend them to anyone in texas if you need to see an optomologist.

Dr. Wollan has done an excellent job of managing and controlling my eye pressure. The support staff at Eye Physicians is always a pleasure to work with due to their expertise and positive attitude. Many thanks to Dr. Wollan and the entire staff.

Right from the beginning, the staff was extremely professional and courteous. The technicians were excellent, and Dr. Dai was thorough. My wait time was minimal. I'm very satisfied with Eye Physicians of Austin!

I have been a patient at Eye Physicians of Austin for more than 15 years. Dr. Eric Dai is an excellent physician with a knack for clear, thorough explanations. He never seems rushed, and he listens carefully to questions. I strongly recommend him.
