At First Sight Eye Care

It was the weekend before Christmas during those wild wind gusts we had in the area. I went outside to take down a sun tarp so it wouldn't rip, and on the last hook a blast of dirt flew straight into my eye. I went inside to flush it out, looked in the mirror... and nearly passed out. A live ant was attached to the sclera of my eye. Yes. A real ant. Alive. Hanging on for dear life. I tried saline, which only made it clamp down harder. A Q-tip made it worse, and I was terrified I was going to rip my eye trying to get it out myself. At that point I called my neighbor for help, and that's how we found this clinic. Not only was the doctor open on a weekend right before Christmas, she immediately knew exactly what tools were needed and calmly took control of a situation that felt like a horror movie to me. She even said she'd never seen anything like it in all her years of practice -- but you would never know it from her confidence and steady bedside manner. She kept me calm, worked quickly, and handled everything with incredible skill and care. I truly couldn't have asked for a better physician in a moment like that. I'm beyond grateful she was there and knew exactly what to do. If you ever need an optometrist, I cannot recommend her highly enough. I feel unbelievably lucky we found this clinic when we did.

I had my exam here a few days ago and it was amazing! Dr.Nguyen is amazing at her job and a fun person to talk to. From my experience, I have a hard time finding an eye doctor that cares about their patients and are passionate about their services, but that's not the case with Dr.Nguyen. I was given quick, efficient, and quality service. Pablo is amazing. He has outstanding customer service skills as he was helpful with accessing my insurance and explaining the tests before I met with the doctor. The technology was safe, up to date, and simplistic. Overall, my experience at First Sight Eye Care was friendly and above my greatest expectations.

Was stopping by Sam's to look at frames on my day off from work and I saw this place right outside! They were quick with my insurance and information collection and I have to say I've never had such an easy and fast experience like this, much less with it being a walk in! 10/10 would reccomend, definitely will be coming back next year!!!

Staff is so sweet, was incredibly clean, fast and they took so much time with me because i had an odd prescription! i was super unhappy with my last prescription at another doctor and they corrected it perfectly. Love their availability as well as a working teacher. AISD employees insurance covers contact and glasses exams for so cheap!! :)

I usually do not write reviews but I had time TODAY!! What an incredible visit, from the moment I walked in. I've had some exams that were so quick as soon as I sat down it was over. Not here, best examination and professionalism is off the charts. I'm so happy that I found a new home for my eyes!! I can't wait to bring my family in to be seen! Just got my eye exam done and it couldn't have gone better! The facility was clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent. I felt in good hands from the start, to incredible assistance at the from desk to a smooth exam by the doctor, I'd highly recommend at first sight to everyone!

One of the best experiences I've had for my yearly exam and to get my contacts! They are super welcoming, nice and attentive from the start. Dr. Nguyen was amazing and thorough, answered all of my questions and fun to talk to. Would recommend to anyone! Very grateful that to have found them.
