Everyone was very friendly and Haley w as very great as far as checking my eyes. She explained everything she was doing. When I saw Dr. Diesel she was great also explaining what was going on with my eye and the small cataract. Told .e .y vision hadn't changed so I don't need new glasses. So glad about that. Overall it was great.

I visited Dr. Medert at Austin Eye on 1/29/26. It wasn't my first visit with him, but my third. Each visit I had a different issue. Dr. Medert figured out each time what was going on. I am grateful for him and all of the Staff at Austin Eye. They are kind, courteous knowledgeable and caring. They all love their roles in helping others and it shows! When choosing my Doctor for Cataract surgery I did my homework, looked up the reviews, asked the questions of the doctor that helped me decide Dr. Wong had the kind of expertise I was looking for in a Doctor who was going to change my eyesight for the rest of my life. I'm very, very happy with the results after only one month since my surgery. The doctors and the staff are extremely friendly, competent and knowledgeable. They easily took the time to answered all my questions and NEVER made me feel like I was being dismissed or ignored. I went to see Dr. Krista Stewart for a second opinion on a blepharoplasty I had last March. Unfortunately the surgery did not go as well as I had hoped it would. Dr.Stewart was so much more informative than the other doctor was. (no names) I feel if I should decide to have the surgery again that I would feel comfortable with her doing the procedure. She also has has a great bedside manner.

I have a very long history of serious/weird eye issues that began with a fall more than 1/4 century ago. I was impressed that Dr. Medert had read my history and understood the complications. He discussed with me some options; thankfully, he also sent me home with papers that illustrated those options quite clearly. He discussed with me the POSSIBILITY of eye surgery; when I expressed possible interest in that, he referred me to the surgeon. I was very pleased that he spoke of pluses and minuses of various options, rather than saying something like. "I know it all; do when I say."
