Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience here. I just moved to the area and was hoping to find a great eye doctor, especially since I absolutely loved my previous one in Round Rock. This practice came highly recommended, but I truly don't see the hype. First, the appointment itself took forever. The provider was running about 45 minutes late, which was frustrating. Second, I was recommended daily contacts and given a sample, with the promise that they'd call me Monday to see how they worked. However, the sample only included 5 pairs, which meant I'd run out Monday. I asked for an additional box so I wouldn't be without contacts, and I was told they didn't have any more. When I asked how long it would take to get contacts after ordering, I was told 3-5 days, so naturally I asked how I was supposed to see during that time. I was then told they could give me a sample of a different brand, which I said was fine. They walked me to the front to check out... and then never came back with the sample. I told the person checking me out that I was still waiting, and suddenly he went to the back and magically had more samples available. Third, when they finally called me on Monday, that was the first time pricing was discussed. I was told daily contacts would be $700 AFTER insurance. I immediately said that was way too expensive and asked to go back to the contacts I've worn for years without issue. They strongly pushed the dailies, saying it's what the doctor wanted, but I reiterated that I'm not paying $700 when my insurance has always covered my contacts fully. Then I was told my regular contacts would cost $120 after insurance, which shocked me, as I've never paid for them before. When I asked how much they were per box, I was told $80 per box, which is literally double what many other places charge for the exact same contacts. Why? That's insane. I had my prescription emailed to me, ordered the same exact contacts online, and my insurance covered them completely. I will never go back to this office, and my husband won't be scheduling an appointment here either. I'll make the hour drive to round rock to see my old doctor who doesn't scam their patients. It's not even about the money but the principal.

Ashley brought me a wide variety of frames to choose from and helped me pick one out that I love. I decided to purchase the Neurolens. Because she wears it as well, she was able to guide me through how it helps with eye strain and vision. She also adjusted the frames so they were very comfortable. I highly recommend Ashley for her knowledge and friendliness.

My visits with Dr. Bristol is always a pleasure. Him and his staff are always very welcoming and thoughtful. I know everytime my children and I come for our exams we are in good hands. Thank you all!

Recently moved to the Bee Cave area. I was able to get in within 2 days of calling to make appointment. Everyone there is super nice and extremely helpful when trying to find glasses. Dr Bristol is very nice. He goes through your eye exam telling you if your eyes look good or if there are issues. He explains everything to where you can understand. I am a forever patient!!

Dr. Bristol and his team have been taking care of me and my kids for the past 10 years. The providers and team members are attentive, very helpful and courteous. The practice is hi tech and convenient appointment scheduling. Thank you Dr. Bristol and team for running a practice that we trust and recommend to our families and friends.

Dr Bristol is an excellent optometrist and very personable. He strives to have excellent staff, but the challenges of operating three practice locations requires him to delegate to his two employed optometrists and staff. Their quality can vary, especially with the current economic difficulties of finding enough people to work. Once he can stabilize those issues, his practice rating should improve to a consistent five stars.

Extremely kind front desk staff and by far one of the best exams I have had. The provider took time to explain things I didn't understand and made sure I was leaving without any questions. They have a large selection of glasses and the amount of knowledge each member showed was truly fascinating. I will be recommending everyone I know to this location for future eye needs.
