Honestly, I have been coming here for 10 years and have loved the doctors and people that work here until now. The receptionist has an attitude and her customer service skills are lacking. Let me first say that it was not an inconvenience that I had to wait a few days longer or had to call in to see if the contacts were ready 5 days after I was told they would be there. The problem was that I was lied to and the receptionist was unwilling to acknowledge that a mistake might have been made or even offer an apology about something very simple until confronted in person - the apology was forced and insincere. It was also a bit late as the damage was done with the phone call I made to find out if they were ready since I never got the notification (which I absolutely know I did not ever get until 4 hours after I called in to ask.) I can find plenty of eye docs much more convenient with much nicer people that have the best interest of the business at heart by being sincere and helpful - with much less attitude. Sorry Dr. Kennedy but I am out.

Dr. Kennedy and her staff are fabulous. They are timely with appointments and are skilled at helping you pick out frames that fit your face shape. I would highly recommend Arboretum Vision Care to anyone needing an eye examination, contacts, or glasses.

Was a 5star experience at the beginning, 2 star on a scale of 1-5 experience till Teresa Wiles arrived and turned my appointment at the end into a 5 star experience. First paperwork was easy, check in process best ever, literally had near to no waiting time before a kind, knowledgeable young woman guided me to a room where they did the $40 machine that replaces having to have my eyes dilated and confirmed I am not color blind with some reading tests thereafter. The eye specialist with worst gelled up hair do I have ever seen, they had come in thereafter, was not Catherine Kennedy, whom I came to the location for based on reviews in the first place. He was very indecisive with everything he said and did. Thereafter he was also no help in helping me navigate the frames, lenses, glasses, and prices on inventory. Diagnosis of eye specialist with worst gelled up hair do I have ever seen : You need glasses for your near nearsightedness so you can continue to have eyes that will just do what they are going to do anyway, and while your eyes and vision are fine now your putting strain on your eyes when reading and are on your way to messing up my eyes! Made me feel like I was doomed while in the presence of someone who had just lost a loved one. I truly was concerned for this man and what kind of day he must be having. O_O He then tried to get the staff to help and the front desk clerk, whom kept telling me to just look and try on glasses, at least tried to help but could not help much on prices. He then disappeared never to be seen again thru the rest of this experience to the back. They also tried to interrupt this older gentleman in the corner who was already busy helping another patient, whom I made clear I wanted to respect and not interrupt. But then in a effort to say something he rudely told me to just go thru the glasses and figure it out on my own. To be clear I have never worn glasses my entire live and was prescribed to make a decision on the spot on my first ever pair with people who could not even figure out their own pricing at this point and what each pair on the wall was made of. And all buying decisions final. Very frustrated at this point. -_- Not a very good way to explain this to someone who has gone his entire life without glasses. Finally a employee gets back named Teresa Wiles. This woman lives and breathes all things eyeware. O_O She was kind, professional, upfront in explaining their inventory like the back of her hand. She helped me understand the difference between the hinges, pros and cons of each frame, and helped me pick out an amazing Titanium pair that literally felt like I was wearing nothing at all with no pressure on my nasal passages nor ears! She helped negotiate the price on them down to while working with me on my insurance. She literally saved me over $200+ compared to what I would have probably spent elsewhere. Even helped make sure to mark the lenses to my pupils so that my custom made glasses in the next few days are not off from my overall vision! I had no idea that was even a thing but made so much sense after she explained it to me! I would come back just for Teresa. Wisdom concerning all things eyes! Summary: They are in the process of becoming My Eye Dr network location with a system of people rather then the office of Catherine Kennedy, whom I never did get to meet. On the other hand they have a system now that makes setting appointments, getting checked in, and getting checked out easy so that any of their staff can do it with confidence. Also I acknowledge the eye specialist they had go over results with me may have obviously just been having a very stressed day based on his mood and bad crazy gelled hair. And when it comes time to pick eyeware ask for Teresa Wiles! She was worth every penny! Her knowledge of all things vision related and her ability to explain it all in simple terms is priceless!

Dr. Kennedy is very competent and kind. She has a way of really putting you at ease.
