My experience with Dr. Varu has been life changing! After suffering from corneal scarring and having to wear glasses for years, she was able to get me ready for ASA. The procedure was quick, painless, and the staff was very comforting throughout. I like to ask my doctors how they would care for a family member, so when she said she would recommend the procedure for me, I knew she meant it. I've been having eye issues from watery eyes to dry, to itchy and the sun bothering me. I have been going to americas best every year. Full check up no cataracts , no glaucoma but they sent me Here to Dell valley. After a bit of wait, I kept hearing patients as they left questioning full face Laser or half. As I saw the Dr. a quick exam, she mentions cataracts lens replacement and for skin a laser treatment , what? No of these mentioned ever at my regular eye dr. She prescribed eye drops ok. And another more intense look at my eyes. I went to pick up eye drops and Medicare paid for it $1300 what? I told them I didn't want it. I felt like I was being dragged along and for what ever they could suck out of me.

I had my surface ablation done by Dr. Varu in November 2018. It has changed my life not to have to wear contacts daily and just to be able to open my eyes and see well. Dr. Varu did an excellent job explaining my options and the side effects. She was very diligent on my follow up care to make sure I achieved the results I was expecting. I appreciate how her and her staff have been so thorough with my care. I would recommend Dr. Varu to anyone who is seeking to correct their vision!

I would highly recommend Dr. Varu!! After many, many years wearing glasses and contacts I finally decided to get corrective surgery for my vision. I went to Dr. Varu and she explained about Lasik and Advanced Surface Ablation (ASA). Went home and did some research and also called Dr. Varu's office with more questions. Dr. Varu patiently answered all my questions. I decided to get ASA done. It was the BEST decision I made. The staff was so so so nice and created a very hospitable environment for patients. The procedure went off smoothly and I was comfortable the whole time. I have 20/20 vision and so happy with the results. Would highly recommend Dr. Varu & Dell Laser Consultant (DLC) to anyone considering Lasik, ASA or any other eye surgeries.

Dr. Varu did my lasix a couple of years ago. Being in the medical profession myself, I was unusually nervous about this elective procedure. After thoroughly researching different physicians in all of Texas, I decided on Dr. Varu. She kindly and patiently answered all 50 million of my questions. She and her staff did an extensive, thorough exam before recommending her customized approach to my eyes. It didn't stop there. The procedure and all the after care could not have gone smoother. I highly recommend her and her team. I'm not one to post reviews unless my experience was terrible or unless it was exceptional. Dr. Varu is exceptional.

Dr. Varu is brilliant. I am so grateful to have her as my ophthalmologist and refer her to friends and family.
