Eye LASIK Austin

I have been wearing glasses/ contacts my entire life. Every time I have told someone I wanted lasik done (especially if they are a person who already has good vision) they would tell me all the "reasons" it was not worth it. I personally have spent many years feeling like I had to choose between being comfortable or being able to see. Getting this surgery is the BEST decision I have ever made! From the second I stepped into my consultation Tim was more thorough with every step of the process than I have ever experienced in a doctors office. They were able to find a spot for me just two weeks out from my consultation. I had my surgery preformed yesterday where Tim, Nina, and Dr. Aschenbeck made what can be a somewhat nerve wracking day feel like I was absolutely in the right place. Before I officially went in Nina took my glasses from me & said 'this is the last time you'll have to worry about these you're about to be a new lady.' After about a 15 minute surgery & a very long nap when I got home I 100% feel like a new lady. Just one day post surgery & when I went back to have my eyes checked this morning I am already seeing 20/15 in one eye and 20/20 in the other the Doctor checked me herself and said she could barely tell I had lasik yesterday. I am so grateful to have this done in a time when the process is essentially perfected and to have picked the right staff to take me on this journey. If you are tired of feeling held back by your vision in your adult life I could not recommend more that Eye LASIK Austin will take care of you. I am so grateful thank yall very much!

Amazing experience. Highly recommend LASIK here. Super star team, every touch point was 5 star. One of the best medical experiences I have had. Customer care and education was amazing. Extremely precise, best equipment, most experienced in Austin. I had poor eyesight and now I have 20/20 vision within less than 24 hours.

The LASIK experience doesn't get any better than Eye LASIK Austin. The staff is friendly, and knowledgeable. The facility and technology is all well kept and impressive. While the surgery seemed daunting at first, the staff comforted me and my surgery was done in 20 minutes, and before I knew it, I was back in the car. I had a great experience with Eye LASIK Austin, which was recommended to me by my long time optometrist at Lone Star Eye. I had ASA a few days ago and was pretty nervous on the day of the procedure, but totally shocked by how quick and easy and completely painless it was. The whole process with Eye LASIK Austin was very seamless and they fully coordinated all the pre- and post-op appointments. Dr. Tom Walters, Tim Alumkal, and all their staff are great! Tim was especially amazing at answering my many questions almost right away, and everyone really put me at ease. Even though I have a couple of weeks of healing ahead of me (since my procedure was slightly different than traditional lasik), I'm fully recommending this to everyone.

The folks at Eye LASIK were patient, kind, and took the time to answer all my questions and prepare me not only for what was going to happen during the surgery, but afterwards during the healing process as well. So thankful for my new vision!

I had LASIK surgery done recently, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Dr. Walters and the staff were very informative throughout entire process, making my decision to proceed with LASIK easy. The next morning I woke up seeing better than I had in years. As an eye glasses wearer since the age of 8, not reaching for glasses upon waking up has been life changing. Good by glasses, contact and prescription sunglasses!! My only regret is I wish I would've done it sooner. I highly recommend LASIK to anyone considering it.

Many thanks to the Dr. Tom Walters, office manager Tim Alumkal, and all team for their excellent, precise work. The Lasik was quick and painless. Immediately after the surgery, I could see everything, although a little foggy. But after 6 hours of rest, my vision became 20/20, clear and sharp. The next day, I visited my optometrist. He checked my eyes and was also very pleased with the result of Lasik. I recommend it to anyone who still hesitates. It's a pity that I didn't do vision correction 15 years ago. Anyway, now I am free from glasses and happy.
