I've used Dr. Rouhani for my last two exams and have been pleased. I have always left with a full understanding of my vision situation and my options for improving it. I had an urgent contact situation one day, and they made time for me to meet with him. I've read the reviews about the negative customer service at the counter. I've found that I've never encountered any rudeness. Is the current employee bouncy with rainbows? No. But is that really necessary? My needs are addressed, paying my bill, getting my prescription, picking up contacts, and I leave satisfied.

Dr. Rouhani was terrific--you can tell he really knows his stuff! There is an ease, humility and patience that reflects his knowledge and expertise beautifully. The cost was also reasonable and he had me in-and-out in no time!

Dr Rouhani took excellent care during my exam. He discussed options for progressive lenses and wrote two prescriptions after I told him they hadn't worked for me and why (I use multiple monitors and they make me queasy). He made sure my contacts were just right and even retested me and changed one lens that didn't feel quite right. I was very pleased all around at the above and beyond service.

Been coming here since undergrad. Visiting from Chicago for a work assignment for a couple months and Dr. Rouhani didn't miss a beat. Despite his front desk staff being out sick for the day he was a one man team manning the phones and getting ready for his next appointments. Additionally I was pleased with his prices for contacts (the reason I came in) they are competitively priced and lower than my optometrist in Pilsen, on lower west side of Chicago. Dr. Rouhani are to the point and not bubbly, folks from big cities in the midwest or northeast would appreciate their respectful but work focused mentality to get you in and out in a timely manner at a competitive price (especially if paying out of pocket) because end of day time is money. Dr. Rouhani's time and ours matter. Thank you Dr. Rouhani and staff.

This man is the fastest in Austin. I always go here and tell my friends to go here, because tell me why it takes 2 hours at a bougie place and they get your prescription wrong, but Dr. Rouhani gets you in and out in under 20 mins but it's perfect every time the university of Houston makes great optometrists,, and the receptionists are always cool.... I'll never go anywhere else Edit: honestly I might have been in and out in under five mins, it's really that damn quick!

I have been Dr. Rouhani's patient for several years. He has always been professional. He is kind and always takes care of my vision. I highly recommend him.

I have been going to Dr. Rouhani for several years now and am completely satisfied with the service he provides for me and my family. He is flexible, respectful and professional. Recently my old-man-farsightedness has begun setting in and he has been quite helpful at letting me find a solution, running through several trial pairs of contact lenses to find something that works. Dr. Rouhani's Achilles heel is probably the fact that he is not a salesman, but that is a GOOD thing. So often at the dentist or vet I feel like I am being pushed towards paying for something I don't necessarily want or need, but Dr. Rouhani is straightforward in getting me an eye solution that works. It feels like so many vendors and insurance companies manipulate doctors into working towards the cheapest or most profitable procedures for them. I don't get that feeling in Dr. Rouhani's practice. As for the receptionist? I can think of maybe three different ones that I've worked with at his office and I have never had a problem. They have all been professional and to the point. I don't expect nor want a bubbly cheerleader. Perhaps you get back what you give out?

Excellent of excellent! From the receptionist to the amazing dr I was so impressed. I have been to some great optometrists but this guy was outstanding. Very knowledgeable and helpful. He took time to answer my questions and made me feel appreciated as a patient. Highly recommend.
