I spoke with the mostly lovely gal at their front desk, Wendy. While they did not offer the very specific socialized service I needed, she went above and beyond to get me info on companies that she could refer me to. I will definitely be coming here for any other service I need based on my experience with Wendy!

Booked an appointment in the morning for late afternoon. Left work early for the appointment, and when I arrived, they told me the doctor was out for a family emergency. Things happen, and I wouldn't give a negative review for something unavoidable, but the issue is no one reached out to me to let me know. No email or phone call from the staff whatsoever. The funny thing is I saw a review from last year expressing almost this exact same issue, which makes me wonder if this is a common occurrence.

I've been here a few times and every year I always receive the best service! Everyone is super friendly and you really feel cared for here. They got me every deal they could on my year supply of contacts without even having to ask :) I recently moved away from the area to Buda, but I still make the ~ hour drive because it's well worth it. Thank y'all!

ISSUE: Poor front-desk / admin. The doctors and the practice generally I'd probably give a 4-4.5, but awhile back, I was in the waiting area for my appointment to start, and in the meantime, I was attempting to update my address (I had moved since my prior appointment), and the tablet wouldn't let me save my updated address. My name got called, and a front-desk person came to get me, I told them that the tablet wasn't letting me update my address, then the person took the tablet (which had my new address already filled in) and said they'd take care of it and to proceed with the appointment, so I went on ahead. At the end of the appointment, I placed an order for another supply of contact lenses. Fast-forward a few weeks, the contacts still haven't been delivered, so I call Far West's office and ask what the issue is, and they say the contacts were mailed to my old address / complex. So I drop by the old complex and check with them, they say they never received any packages for me. I call Far West back, and they say they show the package as delivered, and that they won't reimburse me or replace the contact lens shipment for free, despite the address issue resulting from their failing to complete the update at my prior appointment. So I ended up shelling out several hundred dollars for another batch of contact lenses because of they didn't complete the address update like they said they would.
