Fuad Makkouk

Dr. Makkouk is hands down one of the best physicians I have ever had experience with. He is kind, understanding, and most importantly, incredibly knowledgeable about his field. He saw me in his office on a Sunday even though he was not the doctor on call. He was able to treat my retinal tear/detachment in multiple office visits and I did not require an anesthetized surgery thanks to his quick and careful treatment. I also cannot say enough kind words about his office staff. They are so friendly and really go out of their way to be helpful and courteous. If you have any retinal issues, look no further than Dr. Makkouk. I will be forever grateful for the care I received from him and his office.

I loved how Dr. Makkouk carefully explained my condition and showed me the photos on whats going on in my eyes. Not a serious concern at this time., However, he wants to check on me in two weeks. recommended keeping my head/pillows up 45o as I sleep. Easy since I have a temparpeadic bed.:) Thank You for puttin my mind at ease.

Dr. Makkouk and his assistant Monequa, displayed outstanding professionalism throughout my visit. They were friendly, approachable, and took the time to explain every detail with clarity and confidence. Their depth of knowledge was evident, giving me complete trust in their care and recommendations. I'm genuinely happy to have them as my eye care specialists. As well, the young woman at the front desk that morning was friendly and very attentive and is a valuable asset to the company.

Nurse named Monequa handled all pre steps like Dilation,retina scanning,eye pressure etc in a very decent ,calm and efficient way,she also as per our request helped us taking blood pressure and filled in the numbers and other requirements for insurance paper though we were refused by front desk saying they don't carry the monitor!!! I was to reach Dr Makkouk on a weekend when I was experiencing a vision problem. He spoke to me and gave me an appointment for the next day. At the office they took detailed photos of my retina, and he was able to quickly diagnose the problem. Thank you Dr Makkouk.

First and only meeting, so far, with Dr. Fuad Makkouk was extremely gratifying. After a short waiting period in lobby I was ushered back by Assistant Jacey for some preliminary eye exams/tests and then settled into a room to await the Doctor. Short time later Doc came in introduced himself, as I did to him, and we got down to why I was there. A few days prior I had eyes examined for new glasses and they noted some activity of Macular Degeneration present in the photos of my eyes, so I was referred to Dr Makkouk for further exams or treatments. Short story long, Dr. Makkouk said my Macular Degeneration was so insignificant NOW, but to keep a watch for further progression he suggested I come back in a year.... I left that place on cloud nine. Never hurts to check out a problem with professionals and let them give their diagnosis whether good or bad, at least you know...THANKS DOC MAKKOUK SEE YA NEXT YEAR!! I've had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Makkouk for years. Their surgical skill and clinical judgment are exceptional, and their patients consistently receive thoughtful, compassionate care. Truly one of the most dedicated ophthalmologists I know.

Everyone was very friendly, from reception to the Doc. I was in and out, everything was explained to me so I understood what my options were and why I would need the treatment, and I wasn't forced to make an immediate decision. I am very pleased with this office.
