Kerbey Lane Vision

Kerby Lane Vision is great. They are very professional, have the latest eye exam equipment and are kind and thorough in their process. This was my first time meeting Dr. Wineinger and he makes you feel relaxed, discusses your eye health and any changes to your eye sight completely and has a really fun and positive personality. How refreshing! It was a wonderful experience. Oh, and they have dedicated parking-SO important on Kerby Lane!

I have been a patient of Dr. Ross for as long as I can remember, he and his staff are wonderful! They are all so sweet and helpful, Dr. Ross is friendly and happy to answer any questions you have. It is a very warm and family like office, even with all their other patients they remember who you are, and always ask about how my family is doing - remembering things over the year span between exams. I love them all and would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Watanabe is great! I love all of the technology in the office. No drops! She and her team were wonderfully personable. They wanted to learn more about me and my needs. They worked with me and helped to come up with the best possible solution for my personal needs.

Dr. Ross has a very well equipped office with an extremely competent staff. They care about their patients and they can make excellent recommendations for specialists when necessary. A few years ago I had an unusual manifestation of cataracts and two ophthalmologists sent me to see a retinal specialist. I was dissatisfied with his analysis of my vision problems, and decided not to follow through. Later, at my annual examination, Dr. Ross immediately observed mt growing cataracts and recommended Texan Eye Care to do the surgery. I appreciated the diagnosis and the recommendation. I have no regrets going to Kerbey Lane Vision for the last 10 years!

Deceiving practice! My husband has been a patient of Dr. Watanabe under his insurance. Last week (3/18) he visited the office for a follow up. While he was there, he was told that he would have to submit his claim to the insurance to get reimbursed. He found it odd since he has not been charged before for a general routine exam in the past. Since he was already there he went ahead with this appointment and paid out of pocket. I called to request a copy of the bill so that I can submit it to the insurance and the lady that answered said that she would mail it. She never once cleared up that it would be a waste of our time to submit the invoice/papers since Dr. Watanabe is no longer covered by our insurance. Not knowing this information yet, I called later in the day and spoke with Debbie, the office manager to make an appointment for me. I thought that they made a mistake by charging my husband out of pocket and that I can provide them with all the insurance information needed to get my yearly routine check up for Free as it is 100% covered by our insurance. During my conversation with Debbie, she informed that Dr. Watanabe was not covered and that's why my husband was charged out of pocket. At no point during my husband's visit was he told that the Dr. was not longer on the plan. They deceived him into getting the service and paying in full when they clearly knew that the visit was not going to be covered. SCAMMERS!

Dr Watanabe is thorough, caring, and never feels rushed or in a hurry. She is meticulous in finding what works best for you. Her staff is also very personable, educated, and kind. I highly recommend Dr. Watanabe!
