Alright, friends, You guys need to come into this store and visit all the beautiful souls that work in there! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Brittany! She checked me in quickly! I didn't wait long at all before Vilma took me back and got all my tests done. I must say working with Dr. Salazar was amazing. She really made me feel comfortable and reassured me that my eyes were healthy! Choosing glasses was a breeze with Vilma's and Laura's help! I just wanted to say thank you, ladies, for treating me with complete respect and humility. I appreciate you guys more than you will ever know! I can't wait to scoop up my new fancy Ray-Ban sunglasses because you know I'm a cheap sunglasses girly! Please let them know Margarita sent you, and they will take Amazing Care of you! Scheduling was easy. Parking can be found along Congress. Later appointments may have issues finding a parking. I was welcomed and greeted in this beautiful office for a routine eye exam. They had great sales going on. I got the first appointment of the day and there was just enough of a wait for me to browse around before being called back. All staff was friendly, kind, and considerate. Dr. Salazar was thorough and patient. She was able to address the concerns I had with my eye health. She gave me options and the staff up front was able to provide me with the best offers available and did their best to save me money. On top of my purchase, I was given a free pair of sunglasses (limited selection!) This place is great, I plan to see them for my future annual exams.

My experience was absolutely amazing. The stuff is very nice and welcoming, the doctor very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment. They have so many nice frames options.

Brittany is my holiday hero! I was visiting Texas from the UK when I accidentally damaged one of my contact lenses and found myself stuck wearing glasses for the rest of my trip. After trying several opticians in the area with no luck, I stopped by MyEyeDr in Austin on the off chance they could help -- and I'm so glad I did! Brittany greeted me the moment I walked in and was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely eager to help. She went above and beyond all expectations to find a solution, ensuring I left with a fresh set of contact lenses. The level of service and care I received was simply outstanding -- by far the most accommodating and positive experience I had anywhere in Austin. As a visitor from the UK, I was blown away by how effortlessly Brittany turned a stressful situation into one of the highlights of my trip. I honestly don't think she realised how grateful I was! Friendly staff. Lowest quality lenses Ive ever purchased. Never dropped, only cleaned with appropriate cloth. Scratched to the max- buying new lenses 9 mos later.

All the staff was very accommodating-- including finding a place for me to put down my backpack, trying on dozens of different glasses, walking me through the various customization options and even ordering glasses through the manufacturer because they were no longer in stock! WOW! There's a reason why this particular location has been open for decades and why I've been a loyal client. Highly recommend.

Staff and office is great. However, their rebate for contacts with Acuvue is incredibly stressful. I wouldn't have requested an appointment here had I known that my only option for a discount on an annual supply of contacts would be to go through ridiculous hoops just to submit a rebate BY SNAIL MAIL. The fact that it isn't reimbursed to your original payment method(debit/credit) and only in the form of a digital/physical Mastercard gift card is also disappointing (there are a lot of entities that do not accept this payment method or they, too, require extra steps to utilize). Perhaps it's just Acuvue...but I felt pressured to go with this "easy rebate option". It's not "easy", it feels predatory and reliant on people to miss critical steps in the process. 10/25/25 update: reaching out is just an attempt to show care publicly. If there's not a solution you can actually provide, then don't bother. Don't offer rebates through Acuvue or any other lens manufacturer. How about pricing things accordingly without artificially jacking up prices? Otherwise, buying online 3rd party is the only way.
