My daughter did a tear duct probing with Dr Jackson 3 years ago. The surgery was a great success. No more issues anymore . It was amazing that only topical anesthesia was used, because we do have concerns about general anesthesia used by other providers.

Dr. Jackson and his team were phenomenal. Our son had a clogged tear duct and they took care of the problem in a matter of minutes without anesthesia. We all loved his creative distractions and will definitely return in the future if any issues arise. We highly recommend this provider. Thank you Dr. Jackson!

Dr. Jackson was a delight to meet but also very capable with my son's procedure. He had quite a few tricks and whistles to keep a little one engaged and cooperative. I am thankful for this practice and Dr.Jackson's years of experience.

LOVE Dr. Jackson. He has been my son's opthalmologist since he was born as a preemie 17 years ago. He is so good with kids -- my son loves him and is sad he will "graduate" from him soon. I would highly recommend him to anyone -- he is excellent.

I've been taking my daughter to dr. Jackson since she was 18 months old. He seemed to forget her behavioral issues every time he saw her. He would ask me every time if she had autism. Until i finally had enough. Hopefully I will find a new eye dr that doesn't make me and my daughter feel so uncomfortable.

Dr. Jackson has been a wonderful Doctor to my daughter. First I need to qualify that my daughter has seen Dr. Jackson since she was about 3 months old. She is now 20. She had/has congenital strabismus, meaning she was born with her eyes crossed, predominately in one eye. Dr. Jackson first took the conservative approach of patching, which I diligently did. When the severity of her case was apparent surgery was required. She had her first about 9 months old. That surgery helped the severity and she began wearing glasses at about 3. She had 3 more surgeries over the course of her growing up, each one fine-tuning and saving her eyesight. Dr. Jackson would give me his personal number to call if there was an issue after surgery. This is a Dr. who cares. The reviews that call out scary puppets and cartoons are just silly. Never judge a Dr. based on such superficial things. (And I hope those parents don't take their children out on Halloween! ) Dr. Jackson has always taken time to discuss any questions or concerns and I appreciate that he employs many methods to look at the eye, not just rely on a machine. Last year my daughter (with Dr. Jackson's help) achieved 20/20 vision in both eyes. Though her eyes work independently, basically one seeing near and the other far, they work! To any who deal with strabismus and amblyopia you should be aware that your child literally sees and processes information differently from you. Normal vision means both eyes come together to see one vision. With my daughter each eye sees a different thing so her brain has to choose which eye to use for different tasks. This became apparent when she became old enough to read. She could read great, but comprehension was an issue. Because the connection from eye to brain had a glitch it affected the speed she could read also comprehend. This has not held her back at all but it could have if I didn't understand what was happening and that she needed a little more help. She also needed to understand this glitch had nothing to do with intelligence or ability. So, thank you Dr. Jackson for helping not only my daughter but scores of others. I will always remember you telling me that what you do (surgery for strabismus) is more of an art than science. I want you to know you have done beautiful artwork which has truly made a difference in your patient's lives.

Best Doctor still practicing. He was referred to me from my last Dr in San Antonio Texas was retiring from his practice. I had gone to Dr Mims is San Antonio for 35 Years and had surgery when I was 3. Dr OB Jackson is the best. Thanks Dr Mims from referring me to him.

He is the best doctor I've ever been around, he has this vibe that make you feel like everything is gonna be ok. He is great with kids and have nothing bad to say about this man. I wish him and his family the best.
