I enjoyed my first experience at this facility. Each staff member was plesant to work with on the many test that I had done. The doctor was very informative and I feel that they can help me with my current eye condition.
Super excited she has office in Georgetown and Round Rock and I don't have to travel to Houston for eye care. Thankful for this doctor and her staff.

The people are awesome! The front desk was helpful and organized, the nurses were awesome and really nice and knowledgeable, the doctor was also amazing and seemed to know exactly what she was talking about. I would recommend going here in heartbeat....if you're retired or have nothing going on in your life. I was there for 3 hours. I got hungry and dehydrated waiting to see the doctor. It took a ridiculous amount of time in between each little room. I wish I had been given a warning that it could take 3 hours just for a routine retina exam. If I have a 1:55 appointment, I shouldn't leave at 5pm. Doctor was only 15 minutes or less.

I was specifically referred to Dr. Day Ghafoori at Austin Retina to get a better look at my "eye freckle." Without a doubt, this was one of the most pleasant experiences! Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, and the environment was relaxed yet professional. Being able to fill out paperwork online before the appointment AND talk to someone ahead of time to provide a medical history made the check-in process super simple, and my appointment actually ended earlier than the projected two hour timeframe. We were seamlessly moved through each step of the appointment and someone was always there to let us know what the next step would be. Since my eyes were dilated, my partner came with me to drive me home and there was always a place for her to sit in each room. Dr. Day Ghafoori and the entire staff put me at ease from the moment we arrived. If I wasn't afraid I'd accidentally omit someone, I'd try to mention them all by name because everyone was top notch!

She was rough with me. She was in a hurry to leave or something. Did not clean off iodine my eyes stung for a bit. Did not put more numbing solution in my eyes. My appt was around 2 hours before she saw me. It's like she didn't care I do not want to ever see her again.

I really liked the doctor and staff. They were very nice and professional. However, the experience lasted 3 hours for less than 30 minutes of actual services. 2.5 hours was just waiting. The efficiency of this place needs to be seriously fixed. I don't have 3 hours to blow on an appointment that could have taken 30 minutes. Even an hour would have been ok. 3 hours is ridiculous. This was not just my experience as I heard other people talking about how long it was taking them. I was warned it could take that long, but I thought there was a lot to do. I didn't realize it was mostly waiting.

My Dad has been a patient of Dr. Day's for more than 10 years. We are VERY happy with her care, and everyone on staff is wonderful - kind and professional, especially with so many older patients!
The only critique we have is the long wait times between each part of these multi-step appt (his most recent visit took more than 2.5 hours), plus moving room to room in cramped and crowded space. It's difficult for older patients and their caregivers.

Dr. Day Ghafoori is an excellent doctor. Both she and her staff are very professional, caring and friendly. Going into a doctor's office knowing a needle is going in your eye is a daunting experience, but Dr Ghafoori and her team
have created a calming and caring atmosphere that puts patients at ease.
For me I quickly realized the anticipation was worse than the injection. She makes sure every patient is carefully and comfortably prepped by a technician so there is no pain; just a small bit of pressure. I appreciate both Dr. Ghafoori and her staff and highly recommend her.
