First visit @ the Texan Eye Balcones office was very pleasant, the staff employees were all very professional in their duties. DR Salinas, Ricardo explained every detailed while performing the surgery and was gentle/careful in doing so.
Jasmine, the receptionist, was very helpful & accommodating with my appointments and sending reminders which I appreciated.

I've been a "wherlchair" patient of Dr A's since I moved to Austin a decade ago. She has been amazing at getting to the root of my challenges and her care helped me avoid the wrong surgery. Eye surgery mill. Little attention to the humans to which the eyes are attached. Sadly, I think the facility and providers have great potential but have acquiesced to maximum profits over quality and humane Healthcare. Very reflective of modern medicine as private equity big business with no concern for humanity. I just hope within the probability of positive outcomes my eyes continue to heal well post surgery. For my part I will continue to engage self responsibility for my own wellness and health but knowing from time to time I will have to suffer through engaging with corporate medicine out of necessity. I am quite aware I am not alone in these sentiments. You asked for a review, I have provided an honest one. I am done and gladly moving forward.

I'm not sure what to think of Texan Eye anymore. I loved my doctor who I had a few years ago but she retired. She told me I have the very beginning of cataracts. I saw Dr. Aschenbeck yesterday and she mumbled something to her assistant when looking at my eyes but then told me my eyes look healthy. I'm looking for someone who is more transparent and truthful about my eye exam. I won't be seeing her anymore but will they one other doctor here and then moving on if my experience is still poor.

I went to Texan Eye hopping fine a good place for my vision. Went to tje South location also my dilation lasted 2 days
Also worse part not able to call the clinic directly. Not good .the central clinic. Whateded in the room 30minuts before I was seen and 30 minutes in waiting area. If you looking to be seen Wright away this is not the place also not goid if you have eye emergency no one will contact you Wright away
