OCVT has been a huge blessing to our daughter to be able to name her visual processing disorder and have a pathway to actually solving it. We have been going to therapy for 5 months now and have seen tangible improvements in her schooling, eye strength, and overall self-confidence. Thankful!

We didn't see any difference for our child's blurred and double vision. After a year, after many hours of therapy and lots of money spent, there are was less than 1% of improvement and we decided to unenroll from OCVT. We had more than 6 therapists changed during our time and all of them were in training and do not have the expertise or experience to perform therapies.

We love OCVT and Ms. Andrea! Everyone is very caring and attentive, from the front desk staff to the therapists! Ms. Andrea is great with our daughter! Our daughter's vision issues have gotten way better since we started at OCVT and we couldn't be happier!

OCVT has been a great experience for my daughter and has helped a lot with her vision. Destiny makes it so much fun for her. My daughter always looks forward to going to her appointments. I would definitely recommend her.

We have been going to OCVT Pecan Park for a while now and everyone has been amazing! Our therapist, Andrea, has been so thoughtful, patient, and sweet with my special needs child. She is always finding different ways to do activities to keep him engaged and comfortable. My child has come a long way and I would recommend OCVT Pecan Park for sure!

My experience with OCVT after spending 7 months at their clinic doing VT and $4300 in fees for their services... I saw no improvement during this period very likely related to the limited and basic home exercises they prescribed. They were mostly basic eye chart type exercises and I was instructed to only do the home exercises a very limited 3x a week for 10 minutes at a time for a total of 30 minutes a week. After 5 months of no improvement I began researching and talking to other BVD patients, both currently in therapy and fully recovered. After speaking to more than a dozen BVD patients I learned that all were doing daily exercises as prescribed by their optometrist. When I shared I was instructed by my optometrist to do basically 30 minutes a week at home exercises, they all said this was the reason I had no improvement. I also learned that BVD protocol calls for daily or near daily exercises to recover from this condition. Also frustrating was that I was asking for more challenging exercises and offered to do more of them at home, but was discouraged by the therapists at OCVT. I stopped my sessions at OCVT after month 7 and began at another clinic in my area that follows BVD recovery protocols and I have had more improvement in a very short time than I ever did at OCVT which is likely due to being prescribed the correct type exercises, doing them daily and putting in near 200 minutes of home exercises per week.... so 6-7x more home exercises than OCVT wanted me to do. I feel my shared concerns over my lack of improvement were ignored, that I was given a VT home exercise routine that offered little chance for success, and that my decision to change therapy clinics was the best thing I could have done for my recovery from BVD.

I am an academic interventionist and I recommend students to OCVT all the time. Their screeners help improve the vessels to student learning, the eyes. My own daughter has gone to OCVT and it was life changing for her double vision and focus.
