It was great, efficient, the staff was friendly. The Dr's words were more like a sales pitch than Dr. pt info. There was no "What you can expect" regarding the process/surgery. No discussion about the possible risks and side effects. She spent roughly 10 minutes and left me with the finance guy and the medical assistant. I would have appreciated a thorough explanation of the surgery and side effects. I felt very rushed with her. The person who does all of the eye exams was amazing. Explained everything about each exam, provided instructions, was patient and friendly. He was AWESOME!!!

Let me be clear, Dr. Saulny is simply amazing. My first appointment was nearly two hours. Not only did he review my needs but exceeded my expectations. He went a step further and gave my eyes a through exam to make sure they were healthy before doing any sort of modifications. The support team that handles appointment and call back for questions is non-existent. I have call four times and left messages twice to call me back and I am still waiting for a call back. Additional when you call, you are subjected to audio commercials the whole time you are on hold and the same ads play over and over. Then after wasting 5 minutes of your time, you are told to leave a message because nobody picks up. Love the doctor, hate the support team.

The most unprofessional medical appointment I have ever experienced. I tried scheduling an appointment by leaving a message after hours and never received a return call. After calling during business hours, I was given an appointment. I did not receive any follow up information. When I called again, I was told the wrong address and email address had been typed into my patient chart. I arrived on time for my 11:05am appointment for a serious eye issue and was only taken to the back office by a medical assistant when I mentioned I had already been waiting for 45 minutes. The medical assistant then told me 5 patients were still ahead of me so calculate about an additional hour of wait time, which I could not do as a working professional in the medical field. I would not recommend this group and am informing my dermatologist to discontinue referring patients to Westlake Eye Specialists.

This wasn't as good a visit. I waited fir over an hour to be seen. They evidently kept skipping me and calling in people who came in after me. When they finally realized their mistake they were apologetic. The testing went great. The Tech was good.
Then it was more waiting to see Dr Vendal. I sat in the front lobby for probably 20-30 minutes before they took me to an exam room to wait another 15-20 minutes for Dr Vendal. She explained things, examined my chart and eyes and was out in 15 min or less it seemed. Then I had to go to the scheduler. She was nice and answered my questions. I didn't get away from there u til 12:30. My appt was 9:35.

The staff is very friendly and professional. However, I made my appointment at 1:00 to reduce wait time. When I was seated, they told me Dr. Vendal would be in for my exam in a few minutes. I waited for 45 minutes without staff coming in to explain why she was delayed. When she came in, she did not apologize and seemed to rush through my appointment. I am a doctor, and it is easy sometimes to forget that our patients choose us as their provider, especially with optional services.

Very happy with the staff and their facility. The only drawback at the Bee Caves location is there are few ADA parking spots close to the entrance. And the location is on a side of a hill so it's not easy to get a spot that's level or not having to go up or down steep slopes.
