Eyes on Main

Amazing experience here. DR. Rodgers was able to help recognize a problem in my eye that no other place found. Her love of what she does really show through and she goes above and beyond to be so helpful. My 2 year old son now sees her because they are excellent and so good with kids as well.

I have been going to Eyes on Main for several years. The staff and Docs are always friendly and helpful. Recently I accidentally scratched the lens on my glasses. I had purchased the scratch warranty but it was expired by approximately 4 weeks. The folks at Eyes on Main graciously covered the warranty and are repairing my glasses. This type of customer service and helpfulness is what makes them number one I my book. Thanks Eyes on Main. Dennis Dolezal

Such a lovely optometrist shop in Boerne. The extraordinary, super sweet lady behind the counter helped me repair two pair of sunglasses, even though I wasn't a customer at the time. I will be a customer now! I really appreciate the Service and just be overall kindness. Plus, they have an amazing selection of sunglasses so I will definitely be shopping here as well!

Took some measurements, then spent a good 40 minutes or so trying to talk me out of getting a referral for Parkhurst so I could get surgery for my astigmatism which was the entire reason I made an appointment. I believe they did this because they really wanted me to become a customer and buy their glasses and whatnot. Spent the whole time telling me that Parkhurst wouldn't be able to fix my astigmatism at all. Took so long doing this that I was about to miss my other appointment and had to leave, which I thought would be okay but apparently they stopped mid-appointment to dedicate all that time to try and convince me to get glasses from them and didn't even let me know there was more measurements required. I thought we were sitting and getting a sales pitch because we were done. They charged me $200 and didn't take the final measurements for the referral and told me I'd need to come back for the final measurement and pay an additional $200. Waste of time and money and I got screwed, didn't even get what I came for. Very tempted to reverse the transaction with my bank.

Update: I did receive an apology from Eyes on Main on 9/27/23 for the miscommunication. The owner heard our concerns informed me they are making necessary adjustments for prevention in the future. We hope this helps our community. We are bumping this review from a 1 star to 3 stars for the acknowledgment of the issue and they will make adjustments as needed. We will consider Eyes on Main in the future. -----------------------------------------' I'm making an update and dropping my 5 star to 1 star. The reason was miscommunication. I went with my family to pick up glasses and already paid up front. However, when I arrived to pick up the glasses, I was surprised that they charged an extra $14.00 as they stated that what I paid for in the beginning was just a quote. Just a tip to the business owner if a customer pays for glasses up front and its misquoted, you dont charge the customer in the back end or wait until they come in to surprise them with a misquote. You reach out to the customer first and ask if it's okay, then proceed. Most places that sell glasses break the charges down and up front before charging the amount. We recommend the owner to update their communication policies accordingly to reflect any changes in pricing so the customer is not surprised. Additionally, they told me the glasses would be ready in about 3 days. I had to call mutlipe times over the course of 10 days to find out it was delayed.The issue was a breakdown in communication. Overall, this is the first time where I was upcharged after I paid for glasses. Did not settle right with me, and I will likely never return after that experience. ------------------------------------------- Eyes on Main is a good place to get your eyes checked. The Staff is really friendly, the store is clean and it is a welcoming environment. However, for glasses, there are limitations as they have a smaller selection available than the chain stores. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone.

Super impressed! Such a warm welcome from Brittany, who greeted me when I walked in and helped me with my registration. I received an incredibly thorough eye exam from Kim. And last, I met with Dr Rodgers, who is so knowledgeable and listened to all my concerns. I am excited to try something new for dry eye that Dr Rogers offers and hoping I will get the great results that her other patients have. Thank you Dr Rodgers and staff for taking such great care of me.

This office is set up with state of the art equipment to ensure that your vision is given the best possible outcome. Dr. Rodger's and Dr. George as well as their staff are both knowledgeable and friendly. I have been a patient here for over 3 years and have never been disappointed. If I have ever needed any corrections to my prescription or adjustments with my eyewear I have always had a good experience. Sarah was extremely helpful in understanding all the different areas of vision that I need for the type of work that I do so with her and Dr. George's recommendations, I believe I will be off to "seeing" things so much clearer. We love this place! Dr. Rogers and her staff are welcoming and professional. The office is in a great location with easy and accessible parking. I took my 4 year old to get his eye exam with me, he thought it was so fun. Dr. Rogers was very sweet and patient with him during the exam. She answered all the questions we had. We hardly waited at all to be seen, and when it was our turn, it didn't feel rushed but was efficient and seamless. There are several options for frames, I took so long to pick my favorite because I loved so many of them. I highly recommend Eyes on Main, overall a great place!
