Hill Country Vision Center - Boerne

From the moment I called to ask some questions and schedule, all the way through walking in the door of the lovely building, being greeted by everyone, prescreening, exam and glasses consultation, everyone here was so pleasant, friendly, professional, and eager to serve. I like to ask questions and understand things and was never treated like my questions were a bother. You can tell they love their clients here! After lesser experiences at two other clinics in town, I can happily say we have found our family eye clinic at Hill Country Vision!

This office is nice, staff are nice, BUT they overcharge for everything and if you're "past due" for an eye exam they CALL YOU NON-STOP for weeks like a telemarketer at all hours of the day trying to get you to schedule an appointment. I have great vision, I only see them every other year for new computer screen glasses, I don't need to be called every week or twice a day like they have been. Even when I ask them not to call me they still do like a sales quota.

Great doctor, facility and staff. I have been going there six years and highly recommend them.

Went in this morning for my first eye exam in 12+ years and had a great experience. Dr Arrieta made the exam painless and quick. They have a great selection of new frames and the staff customizes really well. Great place to get your eye maintenance done.

I went into the store on my lunch break on 11/25 with broken, barely held together frames. The lady was helpful at the front counter until she wasn't. She looked it up and found that I had a warranty on my frames, then found out the frames are discontinued. I was then told since they were discontinued, I could choose a new pair and get 50% off. I asked to browse the selection, then was told they were actually closed for lunch (There were two customers actively trying on glasses after an exam I assume). Before I left, I requested my prescription be printed out. I left and heard the lady lock the deadbolt behind me as I walked out. I called back the next morning to get my Pupillary distance since it was not on my prescription (pretty essential for trying to get a new pair of glasses). I was then told that frames from them would actually be 75% off since I had a warranty. I have now ordered frames and lenses on line (ZenniOptical) for much much cheaper and have an extra back-up set now. Hoping we can get the problem with the warrantied frames taken care of and I can continue to come back for future exams. 3 stars because I have used this place since I moved here 4 years ago and have not had any issues until now.

My family has been seeing Dr Arrieta for more than 16 years. He and the Staff are incredible! Always plenty of time to answer questions and explain how things work. He prides himself on always having the latest technology and pairs that with an incredible amount of knowledge! I recommend him without hesitation and with great admiration!
