Retinal Consultants of Texas - Boerne

Just another eye clinic that rushes you out the door. I was hoping they would be more specialized and understanding of my retinal condition. The doctor seemed like a nice guy, I just did not feel as though I was heard or listened to. Also, good luck getting ahold of people actually at the clinic you visited, they pass it off to the main building who then passes you around.

This practice is impossible to communicate with. Be happy if you communicate with them on the same business day.

They are professional, talented and very nice. I had a 2.5 hour wait, consider it worth it because Dr. Baskin restored my vision by undertaking a complicated, rarely performed operation. For that I'm very grateful.

My experience with Dr. Carson Petrash and Staff was a good experience. I had been advised to go to Retina Consultants by a business acquaintance in the Kerrville area. Both this acquaintance and I had some misgivings about a local clinic, so I undertook the drive to the Boerne, TX Retina Consultants clinic. I found Dr. Petrash and Staff members organized, quite ready to explain procedures before applying those, and very cautious about disinfecting equipment used by patients. I left with several sheets of explanatory cautions, "what to expect" points, and emergency numbers to call. All of this info had been explained to me by the Staff (some names I got were Asia, Jasmine, Lily, and McKensie, but all the Staff were obviously qualified and carried on in a friendly, productive manner). I found Dr. Petrash excellent at explaining the medical condition, the treatments for the condition, and the protocol for the months to come. My extended family includes physicians, pharmacists, and therapists, so I've been around medical personnel my entire life, and even undertook esoteric body healing classes, myself, over the years. I was pleased with the services rendered at this location and feel quite confident in continuing under the care provided.
