If I could give lower than one star, I would. My husband and I were here for over 5 hours and never saw the doctor. My husband is diabetic and did not have a single thing to eat prior to coming here. His appointment was around 9 am but the office said it was around noon instead. That's not what was initially told to him. There was one technician, one doctor, and TWO waiting rooms FULL of patients. If personnel is an issue, they should look into hiring more doctors. When the technician tried to administer a test and find the vein for my husband, he couldn't find it and spent 30 minutes trying to find the vein. Overall, this institute seems very uncoordinated and unprofessional.

They called me twice before my appointment day and I provided all the info about my insurance. When I arrived they said they couldn't find it and need to get information again. It took them another hour to find my benefits. After 1:30 hours of waiting I was called to get inside. The girls were nice and polite but one machine didn't work and they had to move me to another room. They were checking something about my eyes on the machine for so so long and the machine flashes was making me struggle for too long. I barely got out the clinic after 2:45 hours. When I arrived I got severe pain in my eye and it still bothers me now, next day while I am writing this review. I would not go back there. Unfortunately, we have not many choices here down here.

As everyone else has put it, if I could leave no stars I would! Complete waste of time! Over scheduling, they never answer the phone, their scheduling answering people are THE WORST AND RUDEST! WASTE OF TIME! Don't even bother with this place.

Omg, same here. We waited almost 3 hours and another hour in second room. Doc walks in and checked my mom in 5 min. And sent home. Idk I think most times it's charging the insurance more important than his patients. Across the board this is no acceptable. Ugh.so upset. My mother is 86 and very upset.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My son's appointment was at 1:45. We waited until we were called into the back waiting room at 3:36 pm. His eyesight was examined, we were directed to another waiting room. Finally a technician comes in to put eye drops in his eyes three different times. We waited for the doctor who finally came in at 4:55 pm. Doctor does the procedure at 5:07 & we were walking out at 5:10 pm. So as you can tell, he was in that office for almost 3 1/2 hours. But we had already been warned by other patients that it's usually ALWAYS a 2-4 hours wait. Another patient had to leave because he was coming from dialysis & was too tired to wait that long. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Summary: This place is an absolute waste of time, you're going to be sitting here for hours for them to check you for 5 minutes and tell you that there's nothing wrong with you even though that you clearly booked the appointment because there is something wrong with your eyesight. My experience: An absolute dreadful experience with the doctor. I had to get a little assertive with him just to even check out my eyes and do test because Im having issues with my left eye. I didn't sit here for hours just for you to tell me that there's nothing wrong with me and schedule me for a follow-up in 4 weeks. How's that going to help if you didn't do anything except shine a light in my eye? Even then that "test" that he scheduled turn into a 4-hour wait for a test that took only 10 minutes. I think it's best if you look for alternatives. They aren't going to help you here.

Average wait is 3 hours for 5 minutes of checking eye sight and another 5 minutes for my mother's eye shots. Staff is courteous along with nursing staff and Dr Barron. BUT THE WAIT TIMES! Office manager should have better control of pr and procedure times and schedule accordingly. Unfortunately this is the only place that offers this procedures. I have heard Horror stories from people who went to the Harlingen and McAllen locations.

The staff is friendly. HOWEVER idk how you get an appt for a certain hour and still get seen 3 hrs later and even then wait 4 hrs for the actual Dr to see you. This is my 2nd visit. 1st visit in 2 hrs i was out. This time it doubled. The office is closed and still 30 patients still waiting to be seen. Many have been waiting 2 hrs min while others have been here 4 hrs or more. Avoid this place and look for an alternative.
