Dr B. What an amazing doc! Very knowledgeable kind and gets straight to the point! I love that! And Jessica, helped my daughter out with everything she needed! If you're thinking of getting a new eye doctor this place is where it's at! I can't thank yall enough for helping my kiddo out!

Firstly, let me say my sister referred me to myeyedr from her location in Carrollton, Tx , so I was excited for my exam on November 3rd at opening at 9am in Cedar Hill, Texas. They're not really friendly in my opinion. The office looked clean but don't let the looks fool you. I had my face and chin on about four (4) machines and when it was time to see Dr. Barrara things went crazy. When the Dr. Barrara put my face against that black flat old looking eye machine it was good at first during the exam; then all of a sudden my cheeks started throbbing. My face was breaking out for some reason and my cheeks started getting red and throbbing real bad. I took pictures of my face and something on that equipment caused a reaction that I've never had before with exams. Let mention that I NEVER SAW ANYONE WIPE ANYTHING DOWN BEFORE MY FACE TOUCHED THAT EQUIPMENT. I think the equipment wasn't wiped down which caused my cheeks to swell up and get red. It lasted even after I left the office but wasn't as bad. I cut the cut the visit short because I was concerned and wanted to get home to treat my cheeks. Why would my cheeks start swelling and throbbing from that equipment? I did send photos to my daughter while I was there. It was very scary. I did tell the lady that was trying to get me to look at their selection of glasses but I was done at that point and told her what happened. I told them and she quickly gathered my prescription and paperwork and I was out. I will not ever go back again. Until I see the employees wipe their equipment down in my presents I WILL NOT EVER DO THIS AGAIN WITHOUT SEEING IT MYSELF. That's just disgusting to think about. I got home and took a whole shower because I felt dirty. Thanks sis for the referral, but I will go to the office in Carrollton next time for newer equipment.

I've been coming here for years and ever since Laura started helping me, the service improved greatly. She's always helpful with my contacts. I've been waiting to get glasses, due to the cost, but she helped get me a great deal. I'm very happy with my new contacts and glasses!

This My Eye Dr. location has really gone down. The only good part about my most recent experience was Dr. Barraza... she did a fantastic job with my prescription. In February I had an eye exam. I took 2 pair of frames in to have lenses with the new prescription put in. Well, one pair of glasses took an entire month to come back. They blamed it on the lab. The 2nd pair never came back. They told me that the lab lost them. I really liked those frames. They told me that I could come in to choose another pair of frames for no more than $250 and that they would comp the fee. They didn't have any good frames to choose from for that price...nothing like the ones they lost. But, I went ahead and chose a pair. Well... then it took another month for those frames to come back. I will never go back there. I've never had such a horrible experience at an optical store.

I ordered and paid for a pair of glasses waited 2 weeks and was called saying they were ready to be picked up. When I got there they did not have them. Wasted my time.

Laura was incredibly sweet and handled the busy front desk all by herself with professionalism and kindness. Despite the rush, she took the time to help everyone patiently and even explained my insurance coverage thoroughly. Her positive attitude and dedication really stood out. Also, the doctor was very respectful, sweet and helpful on making sure I get the correct prescription!

My husband placed an order over a month ago and has not received his glasses yet. He has not received any real explanation for the delay. The manager he was communicating with is out on leave, according to an office staff member, with no other person in leadership to speak to. The only information they provided is that corporate has taken over the case. I don't think this going to end well, the continued non practice response seems like a coverup. Stay tuned.
