Walmart Vision & Glasses

I just want everyone to know that Dr. Jodie who is the optometrist of the optical office at Walmart vision center in Converse is extremely rude and unprofessional. I will be making a complaint to Texas Optometry Board for her rude and unethical behavior towards me.

I just left Walmart Vision Center on FM 78 and spoke to a Luke. Actually, I was there last week, and he helped me bend the side of my glasses so they could be a little tighter. And I misplaced those, so I had another pair to have done the same way today, and he was so sweet and took my glasses with a smile on his face. He heated them up and bent the sides to get them tighter also, and he is just such a sweet person. If you ever need glasses or need service, please see Luke at the Walmart Vision on FM 78. Worst customer service I've ever received from an older woman being super disrespectful and rude I'm just asking a question because I'm new to this and the insurance at no point I gave her attitude I'm not that type of person at all, if she doesn't like to work around customers this is not her place to be at workers like her makes customers not want to go back and I will not be going back at all

Went in for an appointment after a long hiatus do to terrible bed side manner. I figured I'd try again because it's hard to find open facilities due to COVID 19. Man, wish I hadn't. Dr. Flannagan is abrupt with her patients and severely lacks people skills. She kept rushing me through the various eye charts, and I literally didn't even have a chance to read the entire line before she would move me to the next one. When I asked her to slow down, she suggested that I find another doctor because I didn't agree with her assessment. I tried to explain it wasn't that I didn't agree, but that I she was moving along so fast I wasn't given time to process what was happening. I really didn't even know I was supposed to read the chart with the the uncovered eye! I was struggling to look through the eye that had the machine over it, thinking I had to wait for my covered eye to focus through that lens. She didn't explain anything, just said my left eye was much weaker than my right eye. When I told her I didn't have a chance to test correctly, she asked me to leave and find a different doctor! I asked her if she meant for me not to return, and also for the rest of my family who are her patients. She said she thought that was best because I didn't agree with her professional assessment. I told her she would be receiving a negative review and she said it didn't matter to her. I also told her I wouldn't be paying for the service she didn't complete and she said, "of course not". She literally threw me out of her office! Man! Rude and apathetic! Do not waste your time or money there. I'm still in shock over the total lack of professionalism and customer care.

After 4 tries with another Optometrist to get my wife's new glasses corrected, we decided to take the script to Walmart. Staff was very attentive to her needs. When the glasses came in, they were spot on. Kudos for doing a fine job. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff. Had my puppy with me in a stroller and they were more than welcoming to my family The optician was caring and informative. Explained and showed the dangers of careless eye care. FYI your eyes are the most important sense on your body. Without them the world is darker than it is now.

At 3:50 a young man helped readjust my glasses more than once! When looking for a case he found a spare case. Not only was he quick and did the job well, he was kind and helped abundantly.

Staff is very helpful and all around nice. Anytime I needed any assistance with my glasses they were always helpful and fixed my glasses. I also like how they have fun displays in the store that make the store look very inviting.
