We recently visited Cypress Family Eye Care again, and it was such a great experience--just like we remembered. We had used them in the past but unfortunately had to switch providers when our insurance changed and they were out of network. Their level of service was truly unmatched, and we always compared other offices to them.
The good news is that we switched back to EyeMed insurance, and we were thrilled to be able to see Dr. James Overmann again--this time at his new location, which is even closer to home. From start to finish, the visit was smooth, professional, and welcoming. The staff was friendly and helpful, and Dr. Overmann was as thorough, patient, and knowledgeable as ever.
We're so glad to be back and highly recommend Cypress Family Eye Care to anyone looking for excellent eye care and outstanding service.

I've been coming to this eye doctor's office since their previous location and I've been a patient here since 2017. I've seen both doctors over the years and they are personable and extremely patient. Everyone in the office is so kind. Most recently, I accidentally came in a day early and the woman at the front desk was very helpful and managed to fit me in the same day. Every visit is a great experience and I always leave feeling well cared for. I really appreciate how welcoming and professional the entire team is.

I came in for a new prescription and had an overall positive experience. The staff was friendly, the facility was very clean, and I really loved the decor. My optician, Chelsea, was fantastic. Even though I ultimately decided to go with contacts, she did a great job helping me look at frames. As a former optician myself, I truly appreciated how clearly she explained everything and how efficient and knowledgeable she was throughout the process.
The wait time to see the doctor was longer than expected, but it was New Year's Eve, so that was likely the reason for how busy it was. The frames were on the expensive side, and since I'm difficult to fit, the few options that worked for me ended up being higher priced. That said, Chelsea was never dismissive and encouraged me to come back since they regularly receive new inventory and we may be able to find something that works better in the future.
