AEG Vision

Today was the third time I've used this call center to make appointments for an eye appointment that never made it on the books. I decided it was time to write a review. I called to schedule this appt 2 weeks in advance. It's so frustrating to get to the office and be told you do not have an appointment. I understand people make mistakes - and it may be a technology or quality issue but its every single time I use them. My frustrations were also felt by the staff at Malbaar vision in Omaha, NE as they experience upset customers frequently. Based on the reviews here, why hasn't leadership addressed this pain either from AEG or Malbaar? Bad bad bad customer service. Always press 2 and talk directly to the local office to book appointments or they don't exist.

Service and support from our eye doctor was stellar!!!...until they sold to AEG. OMG, this has to be the best example of the absolute worst service you can possibly get.

Our provider sold to a e g. Terrible customer service. Unprofessional staff. We were hounded by reminders for our appointments. Demanded co pays that we did not owe because we have insurance. They hadn't bothered to check. We walked out and now looking for a new provider.

Update 7/21/22 AEG never once got in contact with me to make this right. Despite multiple phone calls and messages, they completely ignored me and proved to me why I shouldn't be doing business with any of their affiliated partners. From now on, when I look for glasses or eye care, I will double check to make sure the office is NOT connected to AEG at all. Original post 7-14-22 I ordered some glasses through one of their partners (EyeTX on Walzem in San Antonio) a few weeks ago, and the glasses they gave me left me practically blind. When I went to get it fixed, they wanted me to spend an additional $235.35 (on top of the $195.20 I'd spent after insurance) to get the glasses corrected. This is an EyeTX/AEGVision problem, not a customer problem. I've called AEG many times and left multiple messages, but they have never once answered the phone, nor called me back. This is clearly a shady company and should be avoided. Thank God for lawyers, though. I've already contacted my lawyers and I'm sure AEG will respond to them soon enough. Whatever you do, stay away from AEG vision and the providers they support. This is a company that can not be trusted

Purchased glasses the 6th of August of 2024. It's not the 13th of November and still don't have the glasses. 20/20 is the local provider in AZ. Will NEVER use this company again!!

AEG where is your customer service? One of your local offices has taken my money and has not provided me the contacts I ordered. Garland Vision Center has yet to rectify the situation and when I call your office I can never get through to any department!

As a selling optometrist, putting my practice in the right hands to ensure that my patients and staff would be cared for was extremely important to me. Partnering with AEG Vision has been a positive experience overall. Like any transition, there were some reasonable challenges early on, but their team was responsive and willing to work through them collaboratively. Like any growing business, infrastructure has had to evolve over time. As those pieces have been put into place, support has continued to improve. I've seen a lot of change over these past five years, but changes have been thoughtful, with intentional processes behind them, and willingness to pivot when necessary. They've shown a genuine commitment to maintaining high-quality patient care while also supporting continued specialty growth within the practice. I've especially appreciated the regional and district leadership--they truly care about the individuals on their team as people, not just employees. Importantly, we maintained strong staff retention throughout the transition, with no team members leaving due to corporate leadership. Patients still benefit from and comment about quality care and service, and many still don't realize there was a change in ownership even five years later. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the partnership and my decision to join AEG.
