America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I have given this place multiple chances and have yet to have a good experience. The staff can be rude and dismissive. I set up an appointment for my husband, who we know has perfect sight, because a family member has AMD so I wanted him to have the early screening tests. We specifically asked them not to try to upsell him anything. Well they tried to convince him to get glasses even with 2020 vision because he might have the slightest possible astigmatism in one eye. Whatever the upsell tactics are annoying. I go for contacts and glasses yearly and at least one thing is always forgotten. I specifically asked for a glasses Rx that includes PD distance so I can order glasses at a later date. Well it's a few months down the road and I want to order glasses and the PD distance is missing from my Rx. I call up there because I assume they must've saved it in my file and not written it down. Nope. But the girl on the phone told me she can give me 'most people's average PD'. I asked her how would I know of that would work for me, and she told me 'when people just ask we usually give them the average. We don't usually measure till you order your glasses.' So to me it sounds like even though I paid for contacts through them, paid for the exam and paid for a complete glasses Rx, they want to make it difficult for me to order glasses elsewhere. Maybe I'd have more luck at another location but I truly have given this place multiple chances and none have been positive.

My friend had a terrible visit today. I am not sure if this is a new policy with Americas Best but usually, when you get a contact exam alongside one for glasses, you usually leave with a trial contact pair. I am not sure why she was given such a hard time but she had a terrible time and ended up having to spend more money to order contacts over night through another company. The supervisor didn't even try to solve the issue, she also didn't explain whether or not they had the prescription nor did she explain why there was not a an option for a trial pair. I've worn glasses and contacts myself for the last 8 years and every time I have a fitting, a trial pair has always been provided. If there is a different policy on this, please share.

They lie to veterans about not having a discount on certain services when they do have a veterans discount on all services and then they try to sell you a year worth of contracts but when you ask what the smallest option is they also lie so it could be 3 months could be 4 and good luck getting a straight answer about any of the services they offer. The blonde lady at the front desk and the people doing the eye exams are wonderful but the sales associates will lie to your face so if I could rate them 0 stars I would.

What a phenomenal experience! From beginning to end I was completely mesmerized... To the point I casually made sure I remembered the names. From the way Shanice completely made me feel welcome and appreciated, to how Cheyenne was so thorough with explaining the different options, to Latasha checking in to make sure I was having a great experience... More so, the banter she seemed to have with the employees. It was a professional environment but it felt like they were having fun which was such a great feeling to experience. This truly reminded me of what great customer service is!!

The staff were super friendly. Have been here twice and the optometrist spent a lot of time with me and was really good.

Brittany was very professional and patient with me while I made frame choices, never an easy task.She helped me find the right ones quickly and I will return in the future for same needs.

Flexible scheduling, and Maciel was super nice, helpful and great to talk with! Enjoyed visiting this optometrist! Angelo Papaspiros easy to talk to, detail oriented and friendly. Very informative! Gave some great information about lasik and other options also! He really cares and goes above and beyond. My fav place to get my eyes checked, I go here every year.

Always has been happy with your service. Just went to another one last year, but I will be back and will not leave anymore. Thanks America's best
