Dallas Eye & Ear

Dallas Eye and Ear Optical are truly such warm and friendly places. Everyone there goes out of their way to make you feel welcome, and you can tell they actually care about the people they help. The staff is kind, patient, and always willing to explain things or answer questions without making you feel rushed. Whether you're getting an eye exam or picking out glasses, they make the whole experience easy and comfortable. It's the kind of environment where you feel looked after and respected from start to finish.

Don't do it! Staff unprofessional and for the most part unfriendly. Two large waiting rooms - because you are going to sit and wait for over 2 1/2 hours on ratty chairs with two TVs blaring Judge Judy and without any explanation of why you are still sitting there. First time patient at this practice and made an appointment with Dr. Burk. However, without informing me, my appointment was made with Dr. Burk's grandfather who absolutely was struggling to make it from one treatment room to the next. I'm happy for this eighty year old man that he is still getting around but that isn't who I asked to see. This place is all about making money and they do not care at all about the patients. After you have been there for 2 3/4 hours, and are clearly just trying to leave, they send you to another department to get your glasses prescription and start stalling to see if they can con you into spending more money on their glasses frames. This place may, in fact, be a portal to hell--and not the interesting, "you should check it out" kind.

I love this place! Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. I was helped by a young lady named Jade I think and she was amazing very kind and professional. I also got my new glasses, and I'm so happy with them. Highly recommend this place.

This place needs to be investigated, please read these comments and believe them, they only want money. These people will hold you up for hours at a time as if they are doing something but the truth is they are not. I have never been afraid of going to an eye doctor as this place. Everyone be mindful what looks good on the outside is not what's on the inside (service).

I use to love this place. Dr Linda Burke was great 10 years ago. I revisited and it cost me $220 to get an eye exam. They told me it would be less then hot me with, "we won't release your eye exam until you pay an additional $45". They told me they would work with me, not having insurance then hit me with their truth, that it's $175 to visit the doc and $45 to get the results. Just like all money grubbing businesses, get the money. Sad

My experience at Dallas Eye and Ear was great! The staff is friendly and really knows their stuff. I had an eye exam and was impressed by how professional and caring the optician was. They explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I also had a great experience with their selection of glasses they have a wide variety to choose from. If you're looking for quality care and great customer service, I definitely recommend Dallas Eye and Ear!

Was seen for medical issue. Was charged 303.00 for visit, asked for itemization of charge but could not provide details of charges. Testing went okay and staff was friendly. Then didn't see the doctor I schedule to see and wasn't told at front that information. Doctor was young, not very impressed. Then when checking out refused to give my eye glass Rx unless I paid another $45. 00. Left feeling scammed, ripped off. WON'T be back and would not recommend clinic.
