Dr.Nwokedi was very professional, efficient, and personable. He explained what he was doing and why, and made sure I was comfortable. The office staff were kind and quick. I will definitely be returning!
I have Parkland Community Healthcare through Medicaid. It was $0 copay, $35 for the tests they always do that look at the lenses, retinas, and pressure, and an optional extra $55 to dilate and look at the optic nerve (be sure to request it if you want it, as it's not automatic)
Very cheap and very thorough!

THIS PLACE JUST WANTS TO TAKE YOUR MONEY!
They tried charging a family member $100.00 for her Medical records to be faxed.(FOR ONE VISIT) Texas Administrative Code States the patient can be charged a REASONABLE FEE of $25 for the first 20 pages, and .50 for any additional page. AND no more than $50 for more than 500 Pages.[TITLE 22,PART 9, CHAPTER 165, RULE 165.2, (e)1 AND 2]

Went in for a contact exam. Told the doctor I had a little irritation in one eye and he completely switched my exam without telling me. He was with me for a total of 5 minutes and charged me $265 for one drop and a prescription for antibiotics that I have to take to my pharmacy. And I still haven't had a contact exam. Maybe a little more communication with your patients that what you are about to do (for 5 minutes seriously) will put them in hole $300. I won't be back.

All of the frames were very overpriced, and to get the glasses the same day I had to pay an express fee, otherwise I would have to wait two weeks. It seems like they are only concerned with pulling as much money from you as they can from your visit.
