Dr. George A. Moninger, MD

I have been going to Dr Moninger ever since he started his practice. My sisters also go to him. He is kind, very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He's the best in my opinion. Susan W.

This is a boutique Office, the entire staff and Doctors are wonderful. Each client receives personalized care. Dr. Thompson is an amazing problem solver. This is not the kind of office that is cuter cutter. They treat you like you are family, professional service with Love and care.

I've been seeing Dr. Moninger since he took over from Drs. Brotherman and Civiletto. He must have been about 10 years old back then. He's the best eye doctor ever. He listens and he does a fantastic job. And Deanna in his office is also fantastic. She just saved me $60 on a prescription. Can't ask for better than that. Thank you, Dr. Moninger's office!!!!

Dr. Thompson provides excellent eye care advice, has a steady hand with a scalpel, and a friendly demeanor! All the other staff are great to work with too.

Dr. Moninger is a highly skilled, extremely empathetic ophthalmologist. One of the best cataract surgeons in Dallas referred to him for ongoing routine care. It turned out that some of our friends have been seeing Dr. Moninger for years and love him. He takes the time and effort to explain what is going on and to answer questions. He also does cataract surgery. His highly experienced staff is equally kind and professional. He does appropriate triage, which is what can make for a longer-than expected wait in any excellent medical practice. We have always been seen promptly. This location is also very convenient to Farmers Branch and the parts of Dallas bordering I-635, and parking is close, uncrowded, and free.

That wait is entirely too long. We were talking about it amongst ourselves in the waiting room. They schedule every 15mins and are not on time. I had a 2:30 and the 2:15 had been waiting 45mins before they were seen. I went on a late lunch break from work since its really close. I was finally called at 3-315pm but they left me in the exam room until 3:45 when I finally walked out and said "I have to go its been over an hour". Dr M showed right before 4pm. My visit was less than 10minutes bc I wasnt there for an exam. Thats why this get zero if I could-the excessive wait. The staff and Dr Moninger are great though! Really nice ladies and this office actually had openings within a few days. They get 5 stars for that. One of the regular patients said the other Dr retired a year and a half ago and Dr M is the only one there. The location is great but the facility is old. Great customer service by the staff because the 2:15 before me was much more irritated than I was. I can't reasonably come back here tho.

Dr. Moninger is very personable and spends time explaining all aspects of your eye concerns. His staff and office are exceptional and always willing to assist.
