Eyes Over DFW at Downtown

The Pro's: Dr. Abraham and the other optometrists I have met are top quality. Very kind, and do great, efficient work. The Con's: Everything else. I have gotten two pair of glasses from this company while I was insured through VSP and they were in-network. First pair of glasses, the glass was so badly formed to fit my glasses that it gave a glare from day 1. I made no complaints, and assumed my glasses were just a bad choice. Second pair of glasses that I got the next year was a nightmare. When I received the glasses, they had a visible mark from the chock, but the front desk associate clearly did not want me to make any complaints about the glasses, I felt rushed, and left the building. I would find out later that the chock issue was persistent. I ended up, over the next 8 months, visiting the office 8 times to have them replace my lenses, then my frames. During those 8 months, they would misquote me on return times of my frames, saying it would take a week for it to take two or three. They'd send it to the wrong office location, they'd say they could fix it in office and then I'd get there for them to say they need me to come back to send them off to a fixing facility. Finally, after two sets of lenses being replaced, I got a pair that works and is my actual prescription, and the frame does not even fit the glass. The glasses are LOOSE in the frames and have fallen out twice now. When I called to ask to return the glasses and receive a refund, I was told the office manager would reach me. That was a month and a half ago and nobody has called me back yet. Glasses Frame & Lens quality: Bad. Customer service: Bad. Front desk guy is particularly rude and clearly doesn't want to be there. Order wait time: Bad. Selection: Bad, limited. Will never, ever be going back to this office. New vision insurance, new provider.

I visited Eyes Over DFW and had a great experience. The communication, attention to detail, and care I received from start to finish were excellent. The location is convenient, and having a parking garage made the visit even easier. This is officially my new eye doctor, and I'll definitely be returning!

Had been a customer here for over 10 years. Scheduled an appointment last year for this year for annual visit as I do each year. I received text reminding me of appointment. Went and nobody was there. Lights off and doors locked. Next day received text thanking me for using them as if them not being there never happened. Thinking this was some sort of mistake. I called them and ended up scheduling another appointment against my judgement. There was a whole new staff. They did all the same tests. I then met with the optometrist. He immediately started testing me for new glasses. Not once did he explain anything about my tests. It seem he was just concerned with selling me new glasses. He began telling me I am going to need new glasses. My ins. covers $300 towards new glasses (frames and lenses). I asked the staff if I could use my own frames. They said yes. They then quoted me a price of $252 out of pocket cost just for the lenses. This included my $300 ins credit. $552 total. I left with my prescription. This place seems to be all about getting your money. I did not care nor did I enjoy my experience there.

The service and communication is horrible so far after my first session with them a month ago. For starters, over the phone they said I wouldn't have a surcharge and my insurance would cover the exam. Not true when I arrived. Secondly, before I returned two weeks later to select my frames, I was told over the phone my insurance would cover up to $200 for the frames and there would not be an additional charge. Not true when I arrived. Lastly, they never called me concerning the status of my frames within or beyond the week they said my frames would arrive. I called them. The lady who answered did some "research" and said my frames had not arrived and there was no ETA. She said she would get a status update and call me back. I haven't received a callback and that was 4 days ago. I'm very disappointed. Also, when I went to select my frames, there was a guy there checking in the status of his contacts and they had no answer for him after a month. That was a bad sign. As of Friday, 1/30/2026, I have not received a status update on my eyewear, as I was told I would be receiving by Friday, 1/23/2026; it's been a week later. I called Eyes Over DFW at Downtown at approximately 9:18am on Friday, 1/30/2026 for an update. "Priscilla" tells me she didn't call me to provide me with an update because when she called the factory and they didn't have an ETA on the arrival of my eyewear. Therefore, she felt no need to give me an update. She really thinks this is acceptable. Very very unprofessional. 2/6/26 - I called the Office because they didn't call me with a status update. David said the lab has messed up my prescription twice and there is not ETA. He initially told me to call back in two hours to allow him to do a deep dive and retrieve an update. I told him that did make sense professionally for me to have to call him back when I'm being inconvenienced and I still haven't received my eyewear after a month. He agreed to call me back. We shall see. 2/10/26 - on 2/6/26, I was time my eyewear would arrive either on Monday, 2/9/26 or Tuesday, 2/10/26. I called the Office on 2/10/26 at approximately 11:45am for an update. No eyewear has arrived and no ETA.

Actually I want to be honest about the experience I had with this facility at the Bank of America location. This place is the most terrifying place ever. I begged this place to put in for my glasses for three weeks . They never placed my order for my glasses. I called time and after time to see what need to be done to send off for my prescription glasses . Jessica Eli and the Manger Michelle were ask to call me back to get my glasses ordered . I walked in and picked frames that I wanted . Then when I called to see what was needed to get them sent off after 3 weeks they actually ask me what frames did I want . That's when I gave up. I'm so so depressed about the issues I had with this facility. I felt like if I was being treated like a kid and had to be treated as if I'm not being cared for. I have excellent insurance. I don't know what the issue was with my glasses. It was all a waste of time that wax uncalled for. Never have I've been mistreated like this in my life over something like this. I don't understands why there was never an argument about nothing. I just ver ever have placed a bad report in nobody's. This is my first time doing this. I just had to let the people know what you might expect. Maybe some one might have had a good experience. But unfortunately I was not that one. I've been to vision works off lovers in Dallas and they are the most sweetest . Also I've been to Americas Best and they are so kind. The only reason I went to eyes over Dallas was that I was at the bankk of America building and it was convenient so I walk in gave them my prescription picked my glasses and left three weeks later nothing . The didn't know nothing about me. Never again I'm praying this won't happen to you or me or anybody. It's bad enough to wait 2 weeks to get glasses back but three weeks later they don't know anything about me.

Fantastic experience!!! Dr. Abraham was amazing, so kind and very through! She let me walk around w my new prescription in a trial frame to make sure everything was perfect. Jessica at the front desk was super bubbly and made me fee comfortable as soon as I walked in. And James was the highlight of it all! He spent so long with me helping me pick out the perfect frames! Everyone was super kind, funny, and respectful! Will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family in the future.

I have been coming here for many years for Dr Jacob's and now that Dr Abraham has taken over. She has been above and beyond for her patients making sure that everything looks good with these eye exams, that I have been enjoying. She truly wants the best for her patients and I am very happy she is here to stay! The staff have been lovely to chat with and very helpful (they helped me pick out my glasses which I LOVE!) They are caring to your needs and will work with you if anything comes up! Communication is key and Eyes Over DFW is anything, but short of that at all! I highly recommend anyone that is in need of an optometrist that is willing to go above for their patients and to come check out Dr Abraham!

Dr Abraham and staff are so amazing. After inserting my new contacts, I could see down the hallway into the reflection of the faucet deep into the eyes of each staff member that they really care. Fun fact: Dr Abraham can flick both of her contacts into the air, run up the wall, and catch them with her corneas. So well placed it's unnecessary to blink. Thanks Eyes Over DFW Downtown!!
