Laser Center for Vision Care - UT Southwestern

Dr. Bowman is an exceptional physician, and his team at the Laser Center is outstanding. Liz and Olivia are both very courteous and helpful over the phone and in person. They are always willing to assist with any needs and consistently exceed expectations in their support. I am deeply appreciative of their dedication and the high level of care provided by Dr. Bowman and his remarkable staff. I am thankful to have Dr. Bowman and his amazing staff.

This has been the most pleasurable medical care of my life! Dr. Bowman and every person in the office was welcoming, knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. My only regret is that I did not have my vision corrected years ago. This an exceptional doctor and staff.

Receptionist checked us in told us to sit in area two. Turns out it was completely the wrong area. We sat for over forty five minutes in the wrong area until the doctor's office came to the front to look for us. We were suppose to be told to sit in area four. While we were waiting we had three kids. Who were perfectly fine until they waited too long and became bored. They were running around and making noise. We did our best to minimize the sound. A lady from the back office of the receptionist desk came out. She was very rude and not understanding of our situation. Instead of asking questions. She only said that she was trying to work and that the cafe is a better place to have the kids sit. I remained calm and reminded her that we have been waiting for forty five minutes and that they are just kids. This was my mother's last doctor's visit for the breast cancer surgery she had. I took off of work just to be there for her from her request. After my mother's appointment, before we left. I calmly told the front desk receptionist that the lady in the back needs to work on being a calm professional instead of acting from emotion to ask questions to solve your issues and the guests issues. They are just kids and a mother & grandmother who went through breast cancer.

I don't know why this place isn't more popular. The people here are outstanding professionals and truly care for their patients. Dr. Bowman, who is one of the leading experts in the field, does a monthly educational seminar on Lasik procedures which I highly recommend attending. They also have all of the latest FDA approved devices. Unfortunately I didn't qualify as a candidate for Lasik, but I did a ton of research and went through their very thorough evaluation process. If I did qualify, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else in the DFW area. Check them out, you won't regret it, it's your vision after all.

Loved my LASIK experience! For the longest time I had been scared of lasik, but after growing increasingly frustrated with wearing glasses, I decided to take leap. One of the best decisions I have made! The pre-op evaluation was thorough, and I appreciated that the operating surgeon personally met with me to discuss the risks and benefits and answer all of my questions. Never felt pressured to proceed with surgery, which had happened at some other places I visited. The actual surgery went smoothly. The team helped me stay calm and talked me through each step with clear instructions. Afterward, they rechecked my eyes, explained everything they had done, and again answered all my questions. I'm very happy with the results, now one month post-op. The staff are so kind and helpful. Highly recommend this LASIK center.
