I had a great experience during my visit. The staff was very nice and welcoming from the moment I arrived, which made the whole process smooth and comfortable. The provider was extremely knowledgeable and explained the findings of my issue clearly. They were also very confident in their assessment, which gave me a lot of reassurance. I really appreciated the professionalism and care shown by the entire team.

Dr. Luv Patel is an exceptionally skilled Dr. who fixed a macular hole in my eye! This was a scary diagnoses but He put me at ease during the entire process by telling me what to expect & things to do for the recovery process! He is also a very personal Dr. with great bedside manners! I was in the best of care with Dr. Patel & his team!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Luv Patel at Retina Centers of Texas. My retina first detached in February 2025, and I was sent directly from my eye doctor to the surgery center and scheduled for emergency surgery the very next day. It was an incredibly scary time. At my six-week checkup, I learned that my retina had re-detached. Facing a second surgery so soon was devastating, and because of the back-to-back procedures, there has been significant damage to my retina. In November 2025, I required a third surgery when the retina began lifting again. Throughout this entire process, Dr. Patel has been kind, patient, and exceptionally caring. He takes the time to thoroughly explain every step, clearly outlines the options, and allows me to make decisions without ever feeling rushed or pressured. He has been honest about what to expect while still helping me stay encouraged instead of discouraged. Retinal issues are frightening, but having a surgeon who genuinely cares and communicates so well makes all the difference. I am truly grateful for Dr. Patel and the care I have received.

Very grateful for Dr. Patel's expertise! He performed an emergency surgery and did a fantastic job. I have been under his care for over a year and continuously go into the office for monitoring. He is a great, experienced Doctor to have in your corner and explains everything with such patience and in layman's terms.

Dr Patel has been very open and forthcoming about problems that I have had. He has done a good job in resolving said issues. He and his staff have been helpful and friendly for the most part. I appreciate all of the time and work they and he have put in.

Dr. Patel was very kind and explained to me what was going on with my eye/retinal tear in detail. The Laser surgery to repair the tear in my retina was done immediately. I was super nervous but Dr Patel talked to me through out the procedure ensuring I understood what he was doing and to make sure I was ok. After the laser surgery. A follow up appointment was scheduled to make sure that the laser surgery treatment was holding. I go back for my first follow up today 12/29/2025. Everyone at the surgery center was nice, friendly and professional. I truly felt like I was in safe hands; eventhough I was scared because this retina tear was very scary for me. Lucky to have found Dr Luv Patel when I had an emergency tear in my retina. Dr Patel has a patient and kind bed side manner and was able to fit me in the day and performed laser surgery the same day in office so the tear would not result in a retinal detachment. Great doctor and I will refer any family and friends to Dr Patel!

My thoughts on Dr.Patel is he so professional and puts your mind at ease when usually the patient is somewhat nervous about retinal surgeries of any kind. I have been his patient twice for separate issues and Dr Patel and his staff are comforting and caring,I would recommend him to friends and family. He is precise and cool
