Absolutely horrible optical shop. I told them EXACTLY what I want TWICE, and both times they added coatings I did not approve, and charged me for a lower quality lens when I explicitly requested Trivex (which they do sell). Avoid at all costs.
If I can give a negative star, I would. I have been trying to get my husbands eye rxs filled for past 3 months and no one at the office seems to care. I have asked the insurance at least 10 times for fax the product exception form and i even have a ref# but this office can't seems to figure out how to receive a fax or they are providing some fake number. obviously, they don't care enough to give you a call to say they still haven't received or call the insurance themselves especially knowing the pt is eager to get the medication have called them over 20 times in 2-3 month period. they obviously have absolutely no sense of urgency or empathy for suffering patient. I would highly a discourage anyone who tries to make an appointment with them. If you want qualify care and medical staffs who truly cares for the patient's wellbeing, go find another clinic.
Where to begin. It took 3 attempts just to get an appointment for a new patent. Entire appointment with doctor was 15 minutes. Desperately needs to update medical exam equipment. My bill for vision "services" $140 WITH vision insurance. I would be interested to know what they billed the insurance company. First and only time I will go here. Could have gone to a vision center at Target without vision insurance and paid less. No customer service or value to go here.
I've never called into a more incompetent group of people in my life. I didn't even make it to the front door. I'm just glad I stopped now. Especially after reading the reviews. I can't imagine what criterion they use to hire staff. When she told me the email address to send records to I busted out laughing. That's indicative of anIT department with serious problems. So the entire business is riddled with incompetence
Terrible place, I can't believe this is how this place is ran.
My peripheral vision has been disappearing over the course of a year. Doctors cannot figure out why. I have had all the typical scans and exams, and everything comes back normal.
I was referred to UT because it is "one of the top hospitals in the state of Texas".
First I saw one doctor, who ran several tests. They came back normal, which is what has been happening. He says there is no indication of problems. I asked what other things we should check since I am still continuing to go blind. He literally chuckled and said "ohh, your not going to go blind" and left the room.
I set up another appointment with an older doctor there that has a lot of experience in neuro-Opthalmology, thinking this could have something to do with the way the brain communicates with the eyes.
He ran tests and then said "everything looks normal". I asked what kinds of things we should check to see why my visual field is decreasing, and he said "it's not".
...yes, it is. I literally cannot drive anymore.
He said "well according to this scan there is nothing wrong with your eye or optic nerve."
I told him "I know the test is normal, that's what keeps on happening, but for some reason my peripheral vision is still disappearing, and I really need to find out why."
This idiot... literally stood up to walk out of the room, held up the test papers and said "this is what I go by, it says that your system is functioning correctly, and that's all that matters to me. If you want a second opinion you can go to Houston and find somebody else" and walked out of the room. Not kidding..
Later they called and said "your insurance isn't in our network, so you will be receiving the bill in full".
I called my insurance and they told me "yes, that is an office we cover, tell them to send to us, we'll cover it."
I called UT back and the lady said "well it's not on my computer so I'm not sending it to them". They literally refuse to bill my insurance.
This place is by far the shadiest and most pathetic medical center I have ever seen. If you are being referred here, refuse it and stay away. They will charge you $1,800 for a few tests, completely disregard your problem, and then refuse to bill your insurance.
My son was diagnosed with a disease and was seen by Dr He twice. Had scheduled follow up appointments but they keep on getting reschedule. We have had to reschedule four times with this doctor Just be prepared to always reschedule your appointment and hope you get a chance to be seen what ever your condition is
We have went with a different doctor at a different location and all ready been seen twice compared to the year we were with Dr He
This place is awful. Just like the McDermott pain center and other messes. The staff is like college kids just putting in their time. The mess is running on donated money so there's no accountability. The clerks are useless and if you want anything you will have to call over and over through voicemails and tranfers it never ends as they pass the buck. And no one answers the phone if they do, you have the wrong department and get transferred to the department you were at originally. No one would dare to try owning the problem or have a scintilla of intuitiveness let alone any sign of interest. Just look at the ratings here. They speak for themselves. And the covid excuses are getting old too.
Had an eye injury. Went to ER. Had a follow-up at the eye clinic the next day. Had to pay $85 to be seen. They knew I didn't have coverage. They scheduled me the next week. I show up expecting to be seen but was refused at the door. No coverage no see! Basically...
