Pearle Vision

Went to Pearl Vision on Buckner. There was a person on the phone who did not acknowledge me or my husband at all. A lady walked out the back came to the front looked around at us and went back to the back. Me and my husband was still looking around waiting for anyone to assist. The lady from the back walked back to the front again and my husband said excuse me and she stated do you all need any help. My husband stated yes and asked if they had any Versace v1287 she the stated that's all we had over there. Mind you we were the only ones in the store. I did not feel comfortable and told my husband let's go. Companies loose good customers due to bad manners from employees. I will not be going back to Pearl vision.

I'm currently looking for a Vision Center to get eye exam and possible glasses and or contacts. I came upon this place. As usual I look for distance in proximity, insurance acceptance, pictures of business, and reviews so on and so forth. Reading through customer reviews isn't always cut and dry for me. I read the reviews and take it like I see it. However almost every time a negative review was left the owner would submit a distasteful snappy response. People will leave negative reviews. Some may say really mean hateful things. However it's truly a telling sign when the owner is angry frustrated and full of snappy comebacks that mostly never take responsibility and the shift blame! The reviews regarding rude employees I see most everywhere. I may have shrugged it off and thought it would still be ok had it not been for the owners continuous responses of contempt. So thanks to the owner for making the choice clear.

The new receptionist is rude and don't go in without a mask because the dr will make you leave or set another appointment. He's also rude! Poor customer service there!!! But where you get your glasses next door, the siblings are wonderful people. Their probably the only ones holding that business up.

I definitely DO NOT recommend!!! I went for the very first time on 8/29 and while I can say they have a speedy service and you're in-and-out for the eye exam, their customer service skills lack. The front desk young lady doesn't greet customers at all. The waiting area is the size of a small bedroom.. SUPER SMALL. To make matters worse I see a lot of personal privacy violations which I'm going to report to DSHS HIPPA Privacy Officer for Texas. The sign-in sheet requests your address, phone number, DOB, and email address (along with your name of course). When I signed in I saw SO MANY other customer's information that people should not be privy to! To make matters even worse- the front desk rep will ask you in front of everyone in the waiting area for your age and occupation. A fraudster would have a field day performing identity theft with all this information out in the open. Hopefully DSHS can address their practices. Lastly- a vision office will usually give you a print-out of your prescription lenses. This office writes it out.....good luck with understanding the handwriting. Luckily I reviewed it before leaving the office and asked what the hell is my prescription as I can't even read the numbers. Imagine having to go home and trying to order glasses thru another vendor but can't place the order because you can't even tell what your prescription is since the handwriting is illegible.

Wish I could give them a -10they gave my daughter wrong prescription and told her to come back in a week so they could adjust , then told her might need more time so when she went back she said they could not do anything for her cause it was too late and past the refund time. When she followed the time line they told her. The skinny tran in there told her she didn't like it go somewhere else and hung up on her my daughter is only 14 why would she say that to a child. So I called up there and told me that business is business and if I didn't like the way they do business go to a poor place since I was gonna be rude. Maybe that would fit me. And hung up on me like wow. I see a lot of complaints here at only at this location on just her/him.

they did me an incorrect graduation more than I need. It had been a month and the girl told me that it was normal because I had been without glasses for three months, I put them on and I looked worse. I told them that I had gone to another place and they told me that these glasses had more magnification than what I need but they did not want to fix them and I practically gave them $ 479 dollars

One star, only because i cant give less! This place is a joke. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. First off they have signs outside saying they open at 10 am & we got there at 10 and they didnt open until 10:27. Went in with both my father and my mother. My mom kindly asked the worker (female) to fix her glasses which she bought at this place. The worker said yes that there was no problem in order to fix them. (Nothing was wrong with her glasses she just wanted them tighter) She then asks the other worker if what they use to adjust them if it was warmed up. My mom handed her the glasses and we waited. As we looked at other frames minutes pass by and she comes back saying oh no I'm not able to adjust them due to them being Gucci glasses and because they might MELT!!! & That its happend BEFORE!! My mom understood and said it was fine and got her glasses and left . As soon as we were on our way home we noticed they were burnt!! One side was COMPLETELY PEELING!!! Mind you my mom takes care of these glasses like no other. We then go back and tell them about this situation she claimed she didn't do it that it was of the usage my mom gave them . I then asked if that was the case why only ONE side?? The other workers came and said they were not gonna take responsibility . She called us unprofessional just because we wanted my moms glasses fixed that she ruined! The workers here are family! So of course there gonna back their sister up and say she didnt do it . I asked another optometrist at another eye clinic and he most definitely agreed with us and said they were peeling because of heat!! PLEASE do not waste your time nor money!

Brought my mom hear today and I really wish I didn't. The Dr here is very un professional doesn't even greet you. He put my mom behind the machine and said she was blind out of one eye and in reality he didn't position is on her correctly and she could only see black. We proceed with the exam which took maybe 5-10 minutes and then took us to the front desk and proceeded to tell me about my mother's situation in front of a full room of other patients (mind you, the waiting/front desk is smaller than a bedroom). Anyone who works in the medical field knows this is an offense of HIPPA! He didn't try to tell us in the exam room! I was so disappointed today and it was a waste of money! DO not come here! Save your money! I even asked for my money back and gave them back the Rx. The receptionist went to the back to tell him I wanted a refund and she came back alone, he didn't bother to come and see what the problem was or try to fix any issues. The message he gave her to give to us was "the exam was done".
