Strong Eye Care

I had a 10 star service with Dr Strong and his staff. The patient care is excellent. Courteous with real human care. Instructions are clear and provided in writing. The 2 surgeries were successful. I'm not only grateful I was referred to Dr. Strong; I strongly recommend his practice. Marcie

I first want to say that Dr. Strong is the only Dallas doctor I kept going to after moving to Fort Worth 17 years ago, and he and his staff continue to keep me coming back. During my most recent exam (6 days ago, and right before the Labor Day holiday), I was diagnosed with a hole in my retina, which needed to be fixed as soon as possible. Fortunately, my hero and advocate Lilly who keeps things running so very well at Dr. Strong's office, worked very quickly to get my primary care doctor's office to get me a mandatory insurance referral to a retina specialist. The appointment was two weeks away, but Lilly had me call them to see if they could get me in sooner, or at least to be put on a waiting list. Fortunately for me, when I called and said what my condition was, they asked if I could come in the very next day and of course I said I'd be there. After arriving earlier today, I had to wait awhile to be worked in, but I was eventually examined, and the retina doctor was able to go ahead and use a laser treatment to fix the retina right there, so I didn't have to go back. Once again, Dr. Strong and his staff showed so much courtesy, professionalism, and worked very hard on my behalf.

I've been a patient of Dr. Strong for years, and he's always been fantastic. He's personable, attentive, and truly cares about his patients. He takes the time to listen, explain, and address any concerns.

Dr. Strong is excellent! I truly believe he saved the sight in my left eye as I went to him to check my eye as there were many more floaters one day. He sent me directly over to the retina center and I had a torn retina. They fixed it and Dr. Fish there said that Dr. Strong is excellent. I have scheduled for Dr. Strong to perform the cataract surgery on both eyes - replacing the lenses. I trust him 100%. Oh, and he has been treating my eyes for 5 years. The best!

UPDATE: In summary, due to some initial unpleasant interactions by 'new employees' at the office as well as billing/communication mishaps by these certain staff members, I initially gave a low star rating - but have corrected this to 5 starts to reflect that Dr. Strong contacted me directly after this incident to help resolve the issue professionally and courteously. It's easy to write a high rating when everything goes right, but giving a high rating after issues arise and now resolved speaks to the fact that Dr. Strong does respond and care for his patients ... and appears that he will instruct these new employees to raise them to the higher bar/standard that he himself demonstrates and expects of his office. Will now definitely keep going to (and recommend) this office for future care because of Dr. Strong.

Mediocrity is what can be expected at the Strong Eye Care Center. I went to this location at the request of my medical physician who wanted me to get my eyes checked because of diabetes. I was given a prescription for contacts and one for glasses. Strong Eye Care asked me to send a copy of my current contact lenses prescription so they could see how they had been previously prescribed. I sent a picture with a box clearly labeled with an L to show which was which. I got the new prescription, filled it and got several boxes of contacts. I have been having trouble focusing so I checked the new prescription with my old ones and saw that they were backwards. I spoke with Dr Strong and his fix to his office's blunder was to write me a new prescription. What about all of the boxes of contacts I bought? What about all the headaches and the discomfort of not seeing properly? I seriously thought something had happened to my eye sight. Some moron at Strong Eye Center asked for my old prescription only to ignore it and give the wrong prescription. Simply writing me a new prescription does not correct their mistake. They need to own it and make it right!

The staff always smiles and takes time to answer both of our many questions or directs us to person who can answer our needs. They really care about each person from start to finish of office visit. We drive from out of town to have Dr Strong and staff care for both of us. THANK YOU for your positive experience with eye care.

Awesome, just awesome. I am a very particular consumer of medical treatment, and I have been more than impressed with Dr. Strong, and his staff. He discussed, in full, alternative surgical treatments, and guided me to my choice. His "eyeside" manner is excellent, and I had more than full confidence in his knowledge and competency. Couldn't have had a better experience. Finally, I came to Dr. Strong because I had had a very bad experience with another Opthamologist. Could not have made a BETTER choice.
